I bought this, along with a silk hair tie because I have VERY curly hair and had read that it tends to help keep your curls at night when sleeping. Last night was the first time I tried it and my hopes weren't to high...I mean really...how much difference could a different fabric make on your hair at night...yeah...I was SO very wrong. Typically I wake up to my curls all frizzy and some random knots (even when I pineapple my hair). but this morning after pineappleing my hair with the silk hair tie and sleeping on my silk pillowcase my curls were still perfectly intact with no frizz, no knots and no dents in my hair. Very happy in my purchased and if your are a curly haired girl like me, its work it!!

Definitely quality 19 momme silk. I’ve noticed after using this, my hair breaks much less and feels so much healthier. I’m a restless sleeper that tosses and turns a lot throughout the night, which takes a toll on the hair cuticle. As a side sleeper, I’ve also noticed the side of my face that lays on the pillow is always noticably softer after awhile. Silk does not wick moisture away from the skin the way cotton does.I haven’t washed the material yet though, so hopefully it holds up well. Make sure to wash your pillowcases weekly to semi-weekly to avoid acne. This is definitely hand wash only.It does wrinkle a bit, but all silk does and it doesn’t bother me. Overall, I’d definitely recommend. I’ve already gotten my friend to buy one for herself.

We just love the silk pillow cases. If you follow the directions they wash, dry, and coming out perfectly. We have a few of these pillow cases. The last one bought for our daughter’s bed at the lake house has been poorly constructed. The material quality is definitely the same and excellent, but the sewing job on this pillow case is absolutely horrendous. I’ve only washed this pillow case twice and it is falling apart. All the sewing around the edges have unraveled. It may be that I purchased/sold a defective product. If the sewing had been done properly this review would be 5 stars. I haven’t reached out to the company yet... TBD.

Excellent quality for the money spent!I actually ordered 3 more (as I launder my pillow cases every other day) and they've held up well so far. Real silk (I'm a silk snob). My skin has had fewer 'sleep wrinkle' lines when I wake up, additionally my skin has minimal sheen upon waking). I typically sleep on charmeuse satin cases-so my hair is pretty close to looking the same in the morning anyhow. Nice slip to it, washes well, great value for the case.

Wow, just as described! I have a few other silk pillowcases and wanted to try the Peacock Blue. I compared a white 25 momme pillowcase side by side, and while the 25 momme has been laundered, it's only a little thicker than this excellent 19 momme. I don't know if the 25 or 19 will hold up better over time. The color is a bit brighter in real life than my photos, but a bit darker, less luminous than the stock product photo. Still very nice if you are looking for a darkish teal/peacock color.

I love these pillow cases, my long hair does get as tangled when I use them. This particular purchase was a gift, I personally own three, 2 pink and 1 grey, all colors are beautiful. My first purchase was 3 years ago and the case is still in great condition.I truly love these pillow cases so much I have given 4 as gifts.

I ordered these silk pillowcases for my down filled travel pillows, and love them. The silk is smooth and soft and the peacock blue is a gorgeous bright blue with a hint of green. The stitching on my pillowcases looks good and the zippers work fine. I hand wash these pillowcases simply because the blue runs. That may change with multiple washings. Despite the blue running when I wash the pillowcases, I haven't noticed any change in the color.Recommended - I would purchase these pillowcases again.

washed it on gentle with special soap laid it out to dry. it looked really nice. mine only had silk on one side but i could live with that. the frustrating part is when i put the pillow in it and went to zip it the zipper just came right off. how disappointing!

I have the more expensive Illuminage pillowcase which I love, but I wanted some other less pricey ones for elsewhere. These are great for the price. They aren't as heavyweight as the other, but what do you expect with the price difference. They do crease a little if your pillows don't match in size exactly, but it isn't really a problem, as you can just shake them to straighten them out. Nice and soft, and the boyfriend has now taken to sleeping with one, as it keeps him cooler, and he loves it.

Loved this pillowcase. Wish I could afford more plus the full bedding. First product in 70 years I have bought that does as promised.I have naturally curly hair and spend hours straightening it only to find after sleeping overnight it goes dry and frizzy- not anymore !!! Wake up with smooth locks and smoother skin.Should have been using one froma child and then no wrinkles today.Highly recommended.
