These leases are great for big dogs, so long as you put a bit of duct tape beyond the leather part of the lease. I have two they are bright orange -- love them as does my long haired G. shepherd - Luke. We've tried many others. These are definitely the best -- he is ten years old -- a lot of experimentation.

So far so good as far as chewing it. He tries at times but it’s tough and hasn’t been able to put a tear in it yet. Works as well as the regular flexi leashes which I have had for several dogs in the past 20 yrs. Great product. Retracts and locks well.

I made the mistake of getting a non-Flexi branded knockoff last time and sure enough, it failed within a year. Won’t make that mistake again. The original is the best. My precious Flexi leash lasted 7-8 years.I’ve had this one for almost a year and it’s still flawless, I’m expecting it will last a long time but I’ll update the review if there are issues.

I got the extreme version for added peace of mind as my Rottweiler pup gets bigger. She doesn't pull much but if she ever did get overly simulated, I don't want issues. It is noticeably much heavier duty than the version below it but both are well made. The action is smooth and the break works well and we'll designed.With the pros, there come cons. It's heavier in your hand and larger in overall size which I am ok with. Now, after a few weeks of using it, I also noticed that it also has a stronger pull on my puppy's collar which is taking my dog some to adjust. Some of the difference may be that it's new, my other one is several years old but added tension which can make a behavior correction more difficult to convey. I am hoping with time it will lighten up but if not I just get used to it. For now, I may keep using the older one more as she sometimes likes to chew the line for a few mins when first connected. She is 4 months old and 55 pounds and is still growing at 5 pounds per week so the stronger one may be perfect as she gets to 100+ pounds. Overall, it's a really good leash and the break is easy to use.I recommend this company all day long, but keep in mind that this "type" of leash has a higher risk of failure and can burn your skin if your dog gets frisky and wraps you up. They also can make training more difficult. I use this for specific reasons, like running in the wash or when giving her freedom is more important than obedience. I have shorter standard leashes for times I need more control. I recommend this one-on or one by Dog Nerd for regular leashes. The Dog Nerd one is really nice for 6ft but a wider and less easy to maneuver. I got the 10ft version of the one below and love it. This is my second purchase as I have two German shepherds and this is a lifesaver. Get the cookie box and light and this is pro choice that really works. Comfortable enough that both my wife and I use these regularly.

Slow retractability!!! seems cheap compared to the brand-name Flex. Returning this one.Already replaced it with the German brand Flex, and I am much happier.

Bought 2 for my Labs aged one and two and these leaches take a beating when a squirrel catches their eye!Really great quality and just the right size, not too heavy with a nice stretchy part at the front.

We bought this one as a reposition since we lost the first one we bought. I love it ! We have a german shepherd that might be reactive with certain dogs so we need a strong leash and this one is perfect. Loved the color. The only thing that we don't like very much is that there's like 30 cm of leash that doesn't roll up and it has kind of elastic leash but is ok at the end.

My dog is a rather big/tall American bulldog approximately 120lbs and I’ve went through a couple leashes that weren’t really that great …this one is well made with an effortless locking mechanism. It glides smoothly and feels really strong and controlled when the dog pulls. Especially love how the strap exit/entrance hole has piece which controls side to side movements always allowing the leash strap to glide in/out with ease! Very happy with this leash!

Don't go with cheap dollar store retractable leashes if you love your dog and have to worry about traffic- they will fail or break! I've owned 3 of these German-made Flexi leashes and they've never once failed. I've owned 3 cheap dollar store versions previously and all 3 failed and broke within days or even MINUTES of usage! Well worth the price for the peace of mind of my best friend and dearly loved buddy!

U do 2 much.. lof ur products but if I got 4 flexi leashed dog and they don't have 1 standardized mechanism ur getting my furries.
