What a refreshing, faith building, Jesus glorifying, Holy Spirit I fused book. One of the best I’ve read in a while. Having been on trips with Keir between 1986-1988 in Malawi, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, it brought back some fond and life changing memories. Him & Callie have a special place in our hearts and we treasure our beautiful friendship over the past 34 years. He is an amazing example of humility, honor and integrity. It’s an absolute privilege learning from his life and ministry. I highly recommend this book. Definitely makes my top 10 list. Thank you Keir.

Knowing the author personally, added to my enjoyment of the recording of his life's story. Interesting for former serving members of the Rhodesian war.

Having known Keir and Callie for over 20 years, I was thrilled that he finally put pen to paper, as their story is one worth telling. I define Keir as a modern day Paul, who had his own Damascus road experience in war torn Rhodesia, now known as Zimbabwe, as a Special Forces Operative, known as the Selous Scouts On a paralleled mission as Saul of Tarsus, under orders of destruction. Until he came face to face with the Living God, who called him out of this temporal mission and set his path on an eternal one, and like Paul the Apostle of epic biblical proportion Keir responded to the call of God and kept his word given on a hot day bleeding to death in the bush of Africa. They have tramped the plains of the world as " A Weapon in His Hand", bringing the gospel of Grace to a dying world. They thrive on being used of God, seeing revival, physical and Spiritual healing's, planting and encouraging churches, living out all that God has asked of them. I had the pleasure of meeting Keir in March 2013 when he visited Canada and therefore I had heard 'a short version' of how God had used he and Callie to spread the Gospel globally. When I heard Keir had authored a book, I had to buy it immediately and the fastest was to do that was to buy an e-book version. I simply couldn't put my tablet down....Keir openly shared his walk with Christ in such an inspiring and powerful way. Moreover, Callie's introduction to A Weapon In His Hand will leave every reader wanting their spouse to speak of them with such kind, respecting and loving words. As Keir returns to visit our church again this week, I've bought another copy of this wonderful book...a soft-cover edition that Keir can sign!

This reflection on Keir’s life exquisitely describes what happens when the supernatural collides with the natural. Where revelation leads to hunger, hunger leads to action and action results in a life lived to the fullest. This book will leave you challenged and inspired to believe in a Great God and to attempt great things for Him!

I read Keir’s book at an important point in time in my life when God was challenging me to a deeper commitment and discipline in my Christian walk. His story highlighted areas of neglect in my own life and became a tool in the process of bringing adjustment. Keir is no longer in uniform but he continues to wage war, selflessly fighting an unseen enemy for the salvation of souls that he doesn’t even know. This book is a quick read, mainly because you can’t put it down after starting.

An awesome and very encouraging read. Talk about walking the talk, this is exactly what Keir is all about! A genuine evangelist walking in the gifts of The Lord. This book was so encouraging and very motivational - particularly for those who are in ministry. If you're not read the book anyway, your life will be changed as to how God equips the ordinary and takes the natural and adds the supernatural so that He is glorified. Thanks Keir Taylor for your book, for your life testimony of a man who is fully devoted to our Lord!

This is a must read book.Keir's story is incredibly inspiring and faith building. It's amazing to read of what God can do with a life surrendered to Him. This book is packed full of real life stories, miracles and the raw power of God.It's well written, easy to read and full of life.I highly recommend this book.

This book has been very easy on the eyes. Being born in Rhodesia, memories that had been shut away came flooding back. Military service in The Black Boots. Names, places and "ops" and action remembered. I have also been in meetings with Dr Ron and Dr Rodney experiencing the mighty moves of Holy Spirit. You have reignited within me a hunger for the out-pourings of heaven. Evidenced by the salvations and supernatural healing. Have touched on a core value of "in His presence there is all that you need, want and desire", not only for yourself but for all around you.Thank you for your service as a soldier both in military and ministry.A really great read.

This book is really good and I'm not finished it! I heard him and his wife speak recently and this is such a good book, really inspiring story. a Must read
