Q: Will I pug fit in this baskets?

Hi. I went back and added a couple of photos to my review. Unfortunately I can't post any photos here. I have a Morkie that is a little smaller than a pug and he fits with lots of room. I got the biggest basket I could that would fit on my bike and not rub the front wheel and yet still fit under a seat on an aircraft. My guess is that a pug would fit. All the dimensions listed were correct and you could mock up a box the same size and see if they fit. I'm pretty sure it will handle the weight up to ~ 20lbs.

Q: What is the inner material of the basket made of? It is easily washable/wipeable?

The bottom has a removable fur pad. Inside is vinyl and easily wipeable. Our dog loves it. Well made.

Q: Are the sides rigid or will they collapse if carrier is not supported by the top straps?

Sides are semi-rigid but full weight of dog can mash them down

Q: I see reviews about the bicycle part in the backpack, but how is it as a car seat? Can they actually see out of the window?

No. It doesn't add any height when in the car seat. It is very secure and safe though. It works great as a bike carrier, shoulder, backpack, airplane, etc. It's still the best I've ever seen.
