Disclosure / Fatal Attraction (BD) (DBFE)...
All of my many Blue Ray reviews focus solely upon the actual quality of the film from Standard Def DVD quality to the higher standard set for Blu Ray. Summaries of the plot and opinions of the story line and acting can be found in the majority of the other reviews so I do not want to be redundant. That said, I love these 2 films as they both ring true to the situations and characters.Keep in mind, however, that the quality of what you see and hear is also dependent upon the quality of the TV monitor you are watching on as well as the home theater set up you are using. The monitor I use is a fairly new Panasonic ZT 65" plasma and the amps, speakers, cables, BluRay player and Surround Processor I use are hi end esoteric gear to provide me with a more realistic and objective perspective. I am not trying to be a snob here, but just pointing out that what you see and hear is very dependent upon the quality of the gear you are using.Fortunately, both of these movies come on separate discs for each film. Both were originally shot on film and not video. FATAL ATTRACTIONVIDEO QUALITY... Originally shot on film, the image is somewhat softer than what you normally will find with the newer crop of movies shot of video. However, resolution is quite good and colors are true to life with very little NR to smooth things out unnaturally. Blacks go fairly deep though I do not think they pass pluge. Small details in skin wrinkles and hair are nicely discernable though some of the very smallest details might be lost. The video quality is not what I would consider demo worthy but it is not bad at all. I noticed no artifacting anywhere nor much grain which you would really have to look hard for to find, even in the darkest of scenes. The Mbps rate generally stays in the high 30s throughout the film. As old as the film is, the story line and movie still has great legs and remains both relevant and held together nicely. (If you can get past the hairdo on Glen Close)AUDIO QUALITY.... Though the audio is a lossless Dolby True HD they really shortchanged the movie with almost no use of the side or rear channels and only very little use of the LFE channel. Normally, I would watch most 5.1 movies in 7.1 mode since the 6th and 7th channels would mux the 4 & 5 channels and provide for greater immersion into the film. However, since there was so little use of the sides and rear channels, I just shut off the 6 & 7th amp feeding to those two channels. Dialogue is nicely transparent though the audio levels were consistently lower in terms of volume than I normally set the home theater up for. Normal for me is setting the processor's volume control at 64 and for Fatal Attraction I had to bump it up to 70. Once that was done, everything was fine.EXTRAS There are some fine extras on this disc that I found to be quite interesting. One extra showed several scenes in rehearsal which is a rare find. There is also an alternative ending which was very interesting to view and it is shown in full finished post production mode. Also short interviews with Michael Douglas` and the cultural reaction to the film. DISCLOSUREVIDEO QUALITY Like Fatal Attraction, this movie was also shot on film and the focus is somewhat softer than anything shot on video. However, like Fatal Attraction, the warm color resolution is lifelike and true to form. However, they do appear to be somewhat muted to my eyes but maybe that is just the color palate they used. Certainly, there are no popping colors to be seen, after all, it is not a Transformers movie. Small details in skin and hair are very noticeable and separated with no bleeding colors or mushed hair details. The average Mbps rate appeared to be in the low 30's. Originally written by Michale Crichton who is a favorite author of mine, the film follows the narrative nicely and, like Fatal Attraction, also retains its filmic legs and relevancy.AUDIO QUALITY... After viewing Fatal Attraction and getting so little from its audio, I did not expect much from the Disclosure Blu Ray either. However, there is definitely a greater use of the front left and right channels for foley fx than was anticipated. Not that they were used for much, as this is a dialogue driven film, but there were subtle foley effects found in the front stage if you listened carefully enough. The rear stage gets nothing. Your LFE channel can also go on vacation because it is barely touched that I could hear. The audio, unlike the Dolby True HD of Fatal Attraction, uses the lossless DTS HD MA 5.1 codec and produces a fairly transparent dialogue. Like my experience with Fatal Attraction, I had to pump up the volume with this blue ray disc as well. Once done, all was fine.EXTRAS..... There was none unless you count the trailer as an extra. Other than that, nada.Neither of these films were, IMO, remastered for Blu Ray but were simply transcoded and up-rezzed. That said, both films, at this price, are well worth it and I am perfectly happy with my purchase.I do hope this review has been of some help to you.Thank you for reading.

Two good Movies By Michael Douglas
Blue Ray with two good movies in it and for the price, you can's beat that!!. I had seen these movies before already. Michael Douglas does a good job in both, but especially playing the victim as a person accused of "sexual harassment" by his new boss, Demi Moore whom is also good at her roll. Good suspense movie and good story when you almost never hear the man is the one being sexually harass at the job, you always hear it when is a woman. As to Fatal Attraction, well, Glen Close co-starring in this one with Michael, playing the obsessed woman that she became after what he thought would be a one night fling for the both of them, turned into a nightmare! especially when he thought, that's what she had agreed it would be. Glen Close, really gets into her role in this one and she is really good at playing the "villain" here, although in her mind she believes to be the victim. This one could almost be called a classic!. I recommend them both. They both had good scripts and good direction, not to say "good acting"Enjoy!

I Love Two For One
It tells which sex is stronger when they feel like it, lol. Nice actings but Michael Douglas is not really sexy or incredibly handsome but an average guy. Nothing against him though, I just wish it was a sexier guy.
