Does what it's supposed to do
Very useful for splitting the audio between two Bluetooth speakers and getting one to register as a left channel and the other to register as a right channel. Works wonders and is built very nicely.

It's a splitter and it works as expected

Works as advertised
Works properly. Now I can use two Amazon echo studios as nice big left and right channel speakers for my computer.

Sounds like this splits the left and right signals buts seems to just mirror them.
From the description, it sounds like it takes stereo and then splits right and left apart, but from near as I can tell it mirrors it just like a normal splitter so one source runs two devices. Seems decently made other than seems to do something different than claimed and marked.

Does What it's Supposed to do.
However, I use a L R splitter for something other than splitting left and right speakers. I have these two Bose speakers for my laptop that are already meant to work from one 3.5mm port. What I use a splitter like this for is to add a subwoofer speaker to my laptop, so that both of the Bose speakers and the subwoofer speaker that I have can play the same audio at the same time. I'm pretty sure not all subwoofers will work like that though. It all depends on how it's hooked up. Regardless of all of that though, this 3.5mm L R splitter does the job that I need quite nicely. And, I did test it for the use of splitting left and right audio, and it does that job nicely as well. As for durability and longevity, it's still too early to tell. But for now, I could definitely recommend this to anyone considering it.

Great Aux splitter! see review with photos.
These auxiliary 3.5mm splitters are literally the equivalent of gold in my profession. I really like the quality female fittings as well as the male fitting. They just feel of a more solid quality, more importantly I really like the coupling in the middle of the splitter to where it goes from one in-line to two. I can't tell you how many times I've had splitters break right in that area, so that extra support is completely welcomed. I really like this product. It's very straightforward. It's the first time I am using a braided or nylon, type feeling chord with this adapter versus regular rubber or plastic but I'm sure it will not be a problem. It's a straightforward product and is of a good quality. I also like on this product in particular, he can handle the separation of channels or true stereo. I can recommend it and it was at a good price. Two thumbs up!

It's Just One of Those Things...
...that you need when you need it, and if you don't have it, there's gonna be a lot of frustration. I like to to have a lot of these various cables around (splitters, extenders, etc) for that "just in case" moment that inevitably always seem to come up. Might not be this year, might not be next year, might not be 10 years from now, but I'll have it if needed. This is a quality cable, it's inexpensive, and it's good insurance for the aforementioned "just in case," so why not pick up a couple? For what it is, what it does, and what it costs: Five StarsI am the Totally Unbiased Reviewer Dude (T.U.R.D.) and that is how I see it.

Great for splitting an output
Any place that you need a single headphone output to provide signal to two devices, this is your winner. I actually have two of them. One divides a cheap TV (with no RCA outputs) between a Bose Solo during the day (https://amzn.to/3M1eYmu) and a headphone set for not disturbing others at night (https://amzn.to/3MotiXn). I also use another in December to divide the output from my Light-O-Rama control computer between an amplifier and an FM transmitter, making my light show's music accessible to all. It's a simple cable with a simple job that works great.
