They are mounted at pavement level, and the solar panels are east facing at pavement level.Was good to have a solution for this, and good value.Solar panels: seem to work enough to give energy in the evening. The lights don’t get used often, just for access occasionally.Lights: bright enough to help people see what they are doing in the dark.Sensor:This does go off when people are walking near to the railings, but other than that only when going down the stairs.Was hard to find the right positioning, would be fab to have a diagram.Would say that the sensor doesn’t go off very much higher than it’s positioned and think it mentioned the angle is 120 degrees, which seems about right. The sensor goes off when you are about 30 degree angle to the wall.

I bought this as I needed to light two areas that don't see sunlight, One inside my shed and the other at a back door in a shaded area. The extensove cable to the solar panel and easy mounting means it's perfect for this application. Would recommend

Not the best, sensors only work upto 4 meters. Despite full sun all day lights don't last all night, even with minimal use.

Consistently bright light and separate solar panel allows you to position it to make maximum use of sunlight. The best solar powered outdoor light I have bought so far and I have bought a lot of them. Just about to order another one.

Light was easy to setup and use. But is not very bright only lighting up a snall area of area about 2 metres from light fitting.

Useful LED light with a separate solar panel connected by a lengthy (5m cord). Arrives in a very compact box 15cm * 10* 10 which indicates the small size of both the solar panel and light unit.Its quite an obvious but clever idea, you can put the light where you need it, whilst the solar panel can be positioned somewhere where the sun does shine. This removes one of the main limitations of the single unit lights with integrated solar panel. The two weatherproof parts are connected with a split cable with a weatherproof connector.In my case I connected the solar panel to the south facing external wall of my detached garage whilst the light was situated inside the garage above the door from the garden. This would be very useful as the only light switch in the garage is across the garage by the up and over doors. The kit comes with screws and a sticky pad but as both parts weigh hardly anything I attached it quickly with some U shaped pins into the mortar between the bricks and used the same U shaped pins to support the cable.The light unit comes with a weatherproof button that cycles through the operating modes - 1 which provides middle brightness at night (off during day), 2 dim light and full brightness when motion detected and 3 full brightness when motion detected (which is recommended mode)For my use case mode I wanted mode 3. Generally the unit seems to be working, but the reason why I've only given 4 stars, is that its hard to tell what mode has been selected and I have the suspicion that when the battery is dead it defaults back to off.In use it seems to work fine, if a little slow to detect movement - but provides a good bright light whilst within detection range.

Ich bin zufrieden, leicht zu montieren, Kabel zum Solarpanel ist lang genug. Hat uns über die dunkle Jahreszeit immer zuverlässig Licht gespendet. BW funktioniert auch für meine Zwecke zufriedenstellend.Abwarten was beim Langzeittest herauskommt.

Il prodotto sembra buono , ne ho acquistati due e devo dire che funzionano egregiamente . Colpa mia avendo inteso, che con il buio , rimanessero sempre accesi ed invece si accendono , per un tempo limitato, al passare delle persone, ma è giusto così perche essendo piccoli non possono avere la capacità di restare accesi tutta la notte. Per ora li ho usati con il caldo e vedremo come si comportano con il freddo in arrivo.Rapporto qualità prezzo 2 pz ,direi ottimo - Consigliato
