I use it on my road bike’s R8000 groupset and it just works, gives me crisp shifting. Good wire, a few things in the listing suggest a pair, such as the price per unit being half the total total price, suggesting two units; the packaging being labelled " 1 set", and the omission of the decimal point in the title at "1.2mm" leaving it readable as 2 x2100mm. But's that's all on Amazon, the Shimano gear cable is clean and comes with a single end cap to crimp on. These cables are so fine they aren't particularly abrasion resistant so benefit from careful handling until safely installed. Leaving an over length section in place while I installed mine and indexed the gears, a minute of hitting rotating spokes was enough to fray the strands on the bit I then discarded.
