A fantastic book for those who love challenging and rugged physical fitness programs.
I have been into working out since I was a 10 year old youngster and now that I am well into my senior years at 76 years old I have not lost my enthusiasm for all kinds of fitness programs and activities.I have used various weight training routines using barbells and dumbbells, numerous circuit type routines, HIIT programs, martial art training routines and of course many military type programs from the U.S. Army Ranger to the U.S. Navy SEAL fitness programs. In fact, on the combination leg/arms machine I still do five miles under 8 minutes a mile five days a week besides my swimming workout etc. When I saw this 180 page soft cover book (Warrior Workouts Volume 1 by Stewart Smith, CSCS, and USN (SEAL) on Amazon for a bargain price I decided to purchase it.If you are a beginner or even an intermediate when it comes to physical fitness routines this book is not a good place to begin your warrior fitness training. For one thing, there are no explanations of any of the exercise routines and secondly there are no photographs showing the numerous exercise programs. However, if you are an advanced fitness nut like I am you will love this book. It has over 100 rugged workouts that will build strength, your cardio and endurance. This book is organized into the following workouts: Upper body, upper body calisthenics and cardio, running, rucking , or swimming, lower body calisthenics and cardio, full body calisthenics/resistance and cardio, cardio and mobility: run, ruck and/or swim.If you are seeking the ultimate in physical fitness this book is for you. As anyone into physical fitness knows, no matter what kind of exercise program you do, your body quickly adjusts and you must change your routine to keep making progress. With more than 100 different workouts there will always be a new workout routine to challenge you in this book. Keep in mind these are VERY advanced fitness programs and not for beginners or even intermediate fitness enthusiasts. They also have a web site you might want to check out (getfitnow.com).Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga for seniors and the physically challenged).

Not For The Faint Of Heart
The workouts are a test of willpower personally. That little voice that tries to get me to quit has came about in every workout. I would suggest timing yourself on these workouts, so on a rerun through them you can see your improvements.
