BG245E 245E Premium Diesel Fuel System Cleaner 325ml (1)

Ok this is no miracle product but it does do something.My car ran fine but it just seemed to lack the edge it used to have. I first I thought it was just me but I convinced myself adding injection cleaner was worth a try.I looked at all the reviews and bought this product.I added the product to 3/4 if a tank of fuel, my car has a large fuel tank.I have to admit within using 1/3 of the fuel in the tank I could feel a difference, the engine just appeared to run smoother.I ran the car for a further 1/3 of the fuel and then filled the tank before going on a long drive down to Yorkshire.The car definitely runs better even with the very diluted additive.It’s expensive for such a small can but I think it was worth it.I’d definitely use it again.

Added a can of this while refuelling the 60 litre tank of my V6 3-litre Mercedes diesel.Reason for purchase was due to having problems with kickdown acceleration where the car would judder as it seemed to be starved of enough fuel to meet the power demand.Since rumming with BG245 the car is running much smoother and quieter which was noticeable after less than 50 miles, if not more or less just a few miles use.I am now down to half a tank, or 200 miles use, and have not experienced any further problems so far with kickdown acceleration. The car now responds perfectly and smoothly to any demand for more speed.I had previously used the fuel cleaners that you add to every tank of fuel, but they had no effect at all and now I consider them a waste of money, and in future I shall be purchasing more BG245 for my other cars, and repeat every 10,000 miles.

I have paid extra for this item as it implies from the product photo's that it is for for BG245 and also the DOC (Diesel Oil Conditioner). The top product photo shows both products side by side, the other two product photos are individually both items.How is this allowed - purely false advertising.You will only receive the BG245. Very poor of Amazon to allow this kind of advertising. Shame on the seller.

Excellent product - works well - I use a can about every 5,000 miles to keep the engine clean and wiring well.Highly recommended and I will get my next one after 5,000 miles. 👍

I have used the older version (244) of this on an A3 with good results but on my 2 litre Focus there was no improvement.The car seems to stutter under heavy acceleration or even modest acceleration going uphill. Most people suggested injectors and I hoped this would sort things but alas no.I don't want to critisise the product unduly as it has worked previously and the fault ths time may well need a trip to the local garage.Be prepared to buy a funnel if you have a Ford with certain types of fuel cap/filler.

Toxic but good.

Did what it was designed for. Took a few miles to get rid of black soot. The can it came in needs to be redesigned to make it easier to pour into the filler nozzle. Clean

DPF light came up on my 3 series, used this and after a long drive the light went off and also felt an improvement in performance. Great cheap little fix, would recommend.
