Wish I had purchased the larger one but I am making this work.

A little short for stacking.

I was looking for something stainless steel to space my air fryer crisping plate up off the bottom of the air fryer basket. My air fryer bin measures exactly 6" across, so these fit perfectly. They can also be used upright or upside-down, depending how much airflow you want. Tonight I used one instead of the crisper tray that the air fryer came with, and the food cooked perfectly. Clean-up was quick and simple. I'm sure they'll be great for steaming too. Very happy with this purchase.

Just what I need to steam leftovers.

I was looking for a small rack that I could use for quick steaming small portions of food in my 1.5qt sauce pan for easy cleanup and this fits the bill. It's 5" diameter and you can put a little under 0.5" of water without it touching your food. Good for ~10 minutes or more of steaming depending on your pot size. The base is welded together but the circle portion of the rack is welded on the bottom side so your food is not exposed to any welds. The gauge of steel is thick and sturdy, you cannot accidently bend it. I toss it into the dishwasher already about 10x since getting it and it comes out clean. No rusting at all. Nice that It comes in a 2 pack so I can do 2 steams between washes. I would definitely recommend, but make sure you're aware how small it is.

Making perfect brown rice in the instant pot Duo mini 3 qt was a challenge. The manufacturer's directions suggest a pot in pot or to add oil to reduce foaming in that model. When I tried stairght into the bowl, I got everything from munch to crunch within the same batch. I had success with a small stainless bowl and found a lid to fit, but I still had to use foil to seal the bowl and had to fashion a trivet of foil to raise the bowl off the bottom. When I found the little flan mold, I was elated and this little trivet is perfect. No more make-shift foil! Equal part brown rice and water, 20 minutes pressure with natural release and I'm getting perfect brown rice everytime!

Was packaged with a cake pan that refused to be sent to P. O. Box. Amazon did not deliver to correct address. Very depressing. The rack was advertised at 5". The "bracket" legs made it over 5" and does not exactly fit my 2-Quart Crock Pot. Oh, well. Appears to be well-made. I can use it. Sure hope the weldings don't rust. Will have to be extra careful to dry it after each use. I will not buy anything else that is to be delivered by Amazon. Hunting for my package all over the countryside is just plain STUPID.

I bought these to put in the bottom of pots, pressure cookers and slow cookers to keep items off the bottoms. They are small (5 inches) and two set cross-wise work well in larger pots for steaming.They seem to be well-made and have worked just fine. People said they were disappointed that they are SMALL, but 5" is small for a trivet. That's what rulers and tape measures are for, to measure so you get the right size. Nice product and I am satisfied.
