As an electrician of 25yrs occasionally you need to make a joint, i try not too. I have always used chocolate blocks and crimps. Seen these around now and what a joy they are to use. So quick and easy life is a pleasure. I can't comment on joining and would suggest they are not rated for solid core. So don't go trying to make joints in your domestic ring-main. NO NO NO. These are intended for small and definitely tri rated single cables. Come in a handy little case so you don't lose them, everything is neat and tidy in your box and no need to scrabble around any more. Saved as a favourite and will be buying more as required.

never used these before seen them being used by a sparky on you tube, bought because fitting spot lights omg brill so easy to use bit tough to pull connector all the way back at first but when you get the hang of it brill, iv'e used them on other jobs since.

Makes wiring so much easier. Used for changing light fittings. Just snap & go. Wish I'd used these years ago

I like these connectors because they are strong, have very low resistance <1mOhm, and really hold a wide range of cable sizes very small to heavy-duty power cables 25A and larger. I use them for low voltage (5, 12, 50V DC ) and mains voltage and they really grip the cable and make a reliable connection. They can be used over and over again so no waste, a simple single spring-loaded click to secure 1 or more wires.
