I used these acoustic polyester squares to cover a particle board wall. Years ago I covered it with an expensive heavy wallpaper, but it was time for a remodel. They were very easy to install and I used liquid nails to adhere them. I was done in a day! Much easier than wallpaper! I used a straight edge and utility knife to cut them and really good scissors to clean up the cut edges. Make sure you square the wall first and draw your starting line. The instructions do not give you this information as it appears the instructions are for a new or newer build. Great product and there are many colors. Worked very well on that particle board wall!

They look really nice in my husbands office. They were also easy to cut. I used an X-Acto knife to get the sizing for around the door

Deadens echos in the room, I installed these along one wall with command strips. Makes my bedroom quite cozy. It alsk reduced sound coming in from my neighbours, i used to hear them go to bed, not anymore. It's quite limited-- if people bang on the walls this wont stop it. Little sounds like the spring of a bed, plugging in a charger, etc. My cat however, needed to be trained not to scratch this, so keep that in considerstion if your cat likes scratching cardboard or foam.

Absolutely fantastic! We put up two packs (24 ct. total) on perpendicular walls, and we have noticed a near-elimination of outside noise. We bought some wall-safe tape to adhere them, and installation was simple. I would definitely recommend.

Doesn’t seem to help with noise.

This product works pretty good dampening the sound between rooms. I am going to warn you not to use the double-sided 3M tape; it will not stay on the wall for more than a few days. The issue was the double sided tape did not adhere to the back of the tile. I ended up using Gorilla Glue with Gorilla Double-Sided Tape. Worked like a charm and the wall looks incredible. We used it to dampen the noise between rooms since the walls did not have much of an insulation. If you really need to kill the noise between rooms, i would recommend tiling both sides of the wall or use the thicker tile. This product works really well. We blasted a speaker on one side and it absorbed probably 75% of the noise with this size.

While the color and quality of the product is great. I have ordered other products such as this and they have all come with adhesive stickers to apply the panels. This product does NOT. I used a few stickers from my other set and am not sure how I am going to apply the rest of them.

I'm using these to replace the old low-density black egg crate foam panels that have been in my studio for many years. The old foam is disintegrating in patches, making a mess every time it gets touched. These square panels are higher density, much more durable, and better-looking in my opinion. I'm sticking them up with double-sided transparent nano tape, which sticks to the walls and the panels very well, if instructions are followed. I'm using nine two-inch long strips of tape for each panel (corners, sides and center). Nothing is coming loose at all. The echo reduction of these new panels seems like it's no better than that of the old panels, but it is quite adequate for the vocal and acoustic instrument recording that I do.

Really impressed with these acoustic panels. I installed them in a small bedroom office to reduce echo for gaming and voice calls, and the difference was obvious right away. My mic sounds clearer, voices don’t have that hollow “room” sound anymore, and even music playback feels tighter. Easy to mount with removable strips. They absolutely reduce echo and reflections, which is exactly what I needed. Great value for the price, simple upgrade that noticeably improved audio quality.

I live in a very small apartment and the fridge/freezer buzzing was disruptive. I attached these to the wall behind the appliances and have enjoyed a noticable reduction in volume. Not perfect quiet, you understand, but it has noticably dropped.
