A compilation of many of the best sides of one of rock's founding fathers. Having been blessed to see Uncle Bo with the Duchess and Jerome, it is too bad that his revue wasn't recorded in all its glory. Bo Diddley could actually rip out some pretty impressive guitar licks and had some real vocal chops when he wanted to show them off, but mainly the idea was to do some dancing and have some fun. Suddenly, rock'n'roll became serious music and Bo was pushed into the shadows. Thank God George Thorogood came along and showed us that the spirit of Bo Diddly must never die. Who DO you love, anyway?

Bo Diddley invented his own sound-and that's a hard thing to do. His African rhythms are a cornerstone of Rock and Roll. This collection shows how diverse he was. Anyone who had their songs covered by Eric Clapton, George Thorogood, and The New York Dolls had to be on to something!
