Super Rod Srprs12 Polymer Rod Set

Bought this kit to feed through tight gaps either end of the run. The short length of the individual rods was very helpful and they were easy to screw together as they fed through. The flexibility was also very good and the basic attachments came in handy.Only downside was that three of the red ones broke off at the screw thread, lasting less than an hour from opening the package. The turn was very tight so perhaps I was asking too much of them. The black ones remain fine and I got the job done, so they did what I needed.

In the past I've wasted money on the other type of Rods available through Amazon so thought I would splash out on the more expensive Super Rods. The first few times I used them I thought they were definitely worth the money but then I lost two, one of which was a glow in the dark rod! Then the next time I used them one of the screw ends snapped off rendering two rods useless. Hopefully the remaining 8 Rods will last longer.*edit: One of the hooks has now snapped leaving the end in another rod which is now useless.

I bought this pack instead of the full pack which was a lot of money. There is enough lengths to cope with most jobs in the home and I bought the wire grabbers which actually was the reason behind this purchase

This is the smallest length super rod set. All plastic. Not really the best for an electrical point of view as the plastic ends snap quite easily.

Don't waste your money on the generic blue & brass rods - the brass ends tend to fall off and they aren't that great to start with. For a little more money these are the dream. Mixed stiffness, glow in the dark, and one-piece construction. Fantastic engineering tolerances too, the screw threads feel *right*. Even the tube they come in is top notch.

Bought thesse rods. They are v. small. 1/3 of meter eachcheap plastic not to be confused with Real Super RodsNot a great product.
