ROCK JAW HYDRA V2 In Ear Headphone

Ive had these for about 2-3 weeks now, the clip is handy and well made, the design is nice, the wire tangles quite a bit but it isnt too bad. Sound quality is great, better than a lot of over ear more expensive headphones ive tested.Its the wire thats really surprised me, i work with rabbits and while handling one of them tried to bite the wire, the rabbit tried to chew the wire a few times but the wire isnt even dented! Very strong and worth the money.The one flaw ive found is the actual gromets, which have a bad habit of falling out of my ears! Ive got the smallest size in my ears which still too large, and the design of the headphones makes the end of the ear pieces too heavy for a smaller gromet to fit comfortably without falling out! Very irritating but still very much worth the price and good quality.

I can not stress enough how beautifully crafted these RockJaw are, the sound is as clear as i've heard,On any product of triple the value. The bass is prominent, yes and many reviews state this, but not a drowning out boom boom boom,that muddies the water of sound, it's an incredible punchy bass, with high's and mid's that's above par and and wont give up ! I honestly have started to hear things with Hydra V2 that i thought weren't possible to hear in music, there's such a clarity to these that you won't be disappointed. I have owned these at time of writing this, about 6 weeks, so yes its still early days, and yes if this recommendation should change for any reason in the near future then it shall be updated. But , Since hearing the sound and definition of these british pioneered headphones i'm looking to buy another pair from the Rock Jaw Brand, These designers are getting it right in the music performance department. Quality of sound can be produced at a less cost without the standard of sound being reduced . The design is beautifully crafted and solid with a twisted effect cord that's unusual and one of a kind, apparently this keeps them from getting tangled, now i don't use mine to travel much; their mostly for relaxing with, but i can say i've had no problems in this department, they do tend to fall apart with a pull and don't seem to get that curly effect when unraveled from pocket. So design is ok, i would say; their not recommended if your using them for sports; as the design doesn't seem to support this, but general walking should be fine. The packaging was quit eye catching and reasonably stylish; these would definitely get you looking and picking up in a shop department having been on a rack, especially for the cost. They came with a carry bag to keep them portable, a clip that can keep them attached to shirt/jacket etc. 8 buds in total and each one pair is of different size, now this brings me onto my next bit of wanted or unwanted advice, when first use please read the packet, it recommends to listen with the correct sound bud, this is as good advice as any , so please do. To recommend these IE headphones is to basically say , if you like the dre headphone then these are a must, as you'll be wondering why you ain't bothered sooner and if your after something a bit more natural sounding then i hear the RockJaw Arcana are as good as the next. whatever your choice please consider these. Delivery was fast and efficient and arrived before time, a much used and liked seller.

I have used these ear phones for a while now. Like the cable and the quality of construction. Very light and comfortable.I put them in the same area of the Soundmagic E10S. The sound of the RockJaw is a little bit more dark and less spacious with the lower range of the spectrum more prominent; this is not negative and I must admit I like this sound balance with certain kind of music or records.Definitely a big step up for the one that looks to upgrade from the standard pair of earphones for its portable player or phone.Right and left difficult to recognise due to just a small letter printed on the side; Soundmagic uses a easier colour coded cable holder.If you use it with a phone the audio quality is good and allows you to control call-end only.Packaging as expected and little pouch very useful.

Good: I like the sound and find them comfortable to use.Bad: These were an impulse purchase and apart from the initial couple of hours they have not been used at all. I was hugely disappointed when I got them out to use again to discover that the sound now comes out of one ear only. That is an expensive 2 hours of listening.

I have been using these headphones for about 6 months now and I can now say they are fantastic headphones. They have great sound quality, look good and are durable. They come in a very nice box and as well as large and small earbuds being provided there are 2 pairs of medium. I would be very surprised if you could find any better headphones for the price.

Have to say I had high expectations from reading the reviews. Upon receiving the RockJaw Hydra's order it was clear it was a good looking product. However I'd have to point out straight away these earphones for me have basically been deemed useless because they keep on! falling out of my ears. No matter what bud I use, the smallest to the largest, they will eventually fall out and soon I feel I'm not even going to use them at all because of this. To sum up, fantastic sound quality with shocking ergonomic build. Would not recommend

The sound quality of these earphones is good, and for the price they function well. However, they feel a bit flimsy and the wire casing is prone to sliding down from the earphones themselves, revealing the wire within. I feel like with long-term use of these headphones they will fall apart!

These earphones are incredible! I had a paid of sennhiesers before and I loved them but the RockJaws are the perfect replacement. I'm not a connoisseur of earphones by any means so do take my comments with a pinch of salt, everyone is different and likes different things. The noise cancellation is great for commuting or when you're at work and don't wan to be disturbed and the bass these things produce is awesome. Much better than some of the more expensive earphones that can be a bit tinny. A steal at only £25 10/10 will get again
