High heat insulation
I haven't used the product yet so I can only comment on how the purchase went.The transaction went smoothly. The packages arrived early. They were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition.Buying in a larger quantity made it a great deal.I'm planning on making a small fireplace. Not only using the insulation for a liner , but also for a heat shield for close proximity to a wall. I may have enough to make insulated flue pipe.

Use gloves!
Used for insulating my outdoor wood fired oven. This was a bargain compared to locally stocked insulation. I was 5 feet short and paid nearly half the price I paid for this 25 foot roll. It is very picky so be warned. It cut easily with my shop scissors but took some of the edge off. I don’t plan on building another outdoor oven but if I did I would order it again. Roll it out completely, let it rest for a few hours to puff up and handle very carefully so not to compact it.

Very economic way to purchase
Nice to have a large roll that can be used to wrap a 6" stove pipe with a 8" outer shell. It looks like it will be sufficient to meet a triple wall stove pipe classification. This is only my option and I'm only setting it up for temporary usage.
