Zoo MedLabs Digital Thermometer Humidity Gauge, Single (TH-31)

They work great, temp and humidity has been reliable, they are small which is good and accurate when compared to other measuring devices. I have 6 of them now for all the animals in our home that require them.

Good design, easy to shift around and get the temperatures of any area.

Not a whole lot to say except that it just works! Very accurate down to the decimal and the probes are only minimally intrusive.However, I'm giving 4 stars because I had to buy a new one. The first one's suction cup didn't hold one day and it fell into my water dish and stopped working! I would maybe suggest getting other suction cups than what it provides for you, or maybe using tape. Also, be careful where you hang it haha.

I’ve bought 4 of these so far for various enclosures and in 2 years I’ve never had to change a single battery or replace any of them. They work great and I love not having permanent adhesive ruining my glass enclosures. However, the suction cups really suck so I’ve taken to hanging them with medium transparent command hooks (the kind with the metal wire hooks).

The sensor and head unit work fine. Unfortunately it came with one suction cup that was folded and submitted to heat when in transit so it would NOT flatten out, even when trying to warm it up with a blow dryer. The 2nd suction cup in the box was missing a good chunk from the edge lip and would not give a good suction seal. We just hat to let the probe ends dangle in the tank. Sad, as the reviews were really good for this set. Unfortunately we got a bad set. Check your suction cups before throwing away the retail packaging.

I have two in my leopard gecko cage, one for both sides of the tank since the temps change between night and day. I will say that the auctions have been very annoying, but easy to fix. The first one I bought, the temp one didn’t want to stay, but eventually it did. My second one however, the temp/humidity reader didn’t want to stay. We eventually used tape to keep it in place. When they arrived, the suctions seemed to have been bent and shaped differently, which I believe is the cause of why they don’t stick as well. I’ve heard of people replacing the suctions, but they have to destroy the old ones to remove them and I have no idea how they put new ones on. Either or, still been a pleasant experience.

Mine hygrometer stopped working properly after 5 months and now shows bad humidity read (too low). My overall home humidity is around 40-50%, this thing shows 18%. Price is nice tho.

I purchased this for a small terrarium I plan to set up for a dart frog. I was getting concerned about the temperature being too high with the lighting system I have; I was using a small mercury based thermometer that had a +/- 2 degree accuracy, and that matters in this case. I'm pleased that my terrarium is staying around 78 degrees, which is perfect, with a 99% humidity. My only complaints are that the wiring for the probes was rather long, and the display itself is difficult to read at an angle. Both of these though are mostly due to my enclosure's size and the location I have it. Otherwise, I think this is a great product.

been using it for a dart frog paludarium, works well and easy to usei glued the 2 piece to the backwall so we dont see it bu they can mesure without any problemi recommand
