Esselte90337 Classic Reinforced Suspension File, Foolscap, Tabs Included, Green, Pack of 25, 360 x 240 mm

These are a very bright green and stand out from my old crystal files. I was disappointed to find that they did not come with the standard plastic file labels. The ones supplied are made of thin plastic which are slotted into holes in the files. I did not like them and bought extra standard rigid plastic file labels. Because of this I will look for other files with standard labels.

I bought the pack containing 10 of the "Foolscap Suspension File with Dividers". Have bought them before and those folders are still in good condition despite regular use.I use a black print on white tape label-maker (search Letratag on Amazon UK) which shows up extremely well against this file's blue, as ordinary black marker pen straight onto blue isn't quite as conspicuous. The only disadvantage is that you can't get loads of pages in each section as there's no "give".For the front of these file folders, I recommend Esselte's extra-wide plastic file tabs 9cm, unless you only write short labels - search "Esselte Classic Label Holders and Labels for Classic Suspension Files, 90mm, Pack of 25, 94524" on Amazon UK.

These are not the sturdiest but they are fine, none have split or torn but I can see and feel the difference between them and the crystal files I have. I didn’t want to pay for the more expensive ones so thought I’d try these, as I say they work and I will see how long they last.

These are decent mid-quality suspension files. The card of which they are made could be thicker, but it's reinforced at the appropriate points by a layer of plastic film and the metal bars are strong enough to carry realistic loads without bending.The provided labels and tabs are simple but lock neatly into place and are sufficiently flexible not to snap if a drawer is closed abruptly.These suspension files neatly hit the sweet spot between cheap and nasty and over-engineered, but they not best suited to carrying really heavy files or folders.

These are mid-price, I wanted hangers that were strong but not too expensive. These fit the bill. So far, I am pleased with them. The colours are good and they fit perfectly in my filing cabinet. Plus, they slot in and out without getting caught on the side rails - something that happens with others I have used. Also like the slot in plastic tabs, which are easy to insert and remove. After a few weeks I bough some more as very pleased with them.

They're stationary. They're boring, but... They work. Really well.

Low gsm paper, otherbetter options available

The product turned up and fit a normal filing cabinet size. Slightly flimsy but suitable for home filing. The clear tabs came but there was no card tabs to put in them. I checked all the packaging and they were definitely not there. The tabs look really flimsy anyway like they wouldn’t grip onto the cardboard so I am going to buy some replacement tabs anyway. But disappointed that, for the price of them, I did not get the full product
