Wifi Smart Bulb,LYASI Multicolored LED Dimmable 7W RGB Light Bulb,Smartphone Controlled Daylight & Night Light,Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Remote Control by IOS & Android(B22-7W) This bulb is the bayonet B22 type but it also come in E27 screw type format.When I first installed the bulb it started in high mode and needed to be switched into setup mode. To get it into setup mode it has to be turned on then switched as follows: OFF – ON – OFF – ON – OFF – ON and then it will start to flash (setup mode is active). Next I installed the accompanying app “Tuya smart” from the playstore. Now I must tell you to register in the app with your phone number because if you use your email address (you can choose either) it will have problems with the Amazon echo (I wasted 1 hour on finding this out the hard way). Also make sure you use the 2.4GHz network to set it up on.The “tuya smart” app was very easy to use, it was just a case of selecting the colour I wanted on the colour wheel and playing about with the sliders at the bottom to adjust the hue and brightness I desired. The app also had 8 special effect preset modes built in, such as “rainbow” & “shine” and 6 more which made it flash or change different colours.The main reason why I bought this was so I could control the light bulb with my voice and after the initial teething problems which I described earlier, getting the skill installed was fairly straight forward and it recognised the smart bulb straight away. I could say things like “echo turn smart bulb to red” or “echo turn smart bulb off” etc. The voice control of the bulb was really fun made thing so much more convenient than pressing a remote control (no batteries required yay). Sometimes I’ve forgotten I’ve left the switch on and I’ve accidentally turned it off, but when I turn it on again it defaults to the “on” setting and then connects quickly to my router.This smart bulb was a cracking little device, it gave off a nice brightness which I would equate to around -60W bulb in old incandescent terms but at a fraction of the power. It worked great with the app but best of all it also worked wonderfully with an Amazon echo device. The icing on the cake was that the bulb would remain cool to touch (it literally gave off no heat at the top) so it would be safe around children and pets but does get slightly warm at the base. The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this for my daughter's bedroom as I'm sick of her leaving her light on. This light is an awesome traditional replacement, not only because it's super low energy LED but because I can see from my phone whether she's left it on and turn it off remotely. It's awesome for her because she can turn it on and off without leaving her bed plus, she can choose different colours, brightness and even scenes which fade or flash. The only thing that it doesn't play well with a dimmer switch, it works but needs to be turned right up to function so it's better replaced with a straight on/of switch. This isn't an issue though as it has a built in dimmer and timer.Setup is super quick and easy, literally install the app, turn the light off and on the times and the app detects it.The only criticism is that when turning it on, it’s not instant- not a huge delay but can be annoying if in a rush. Otherwise, a very happy dad and daughter so happy to recommend.

I ended up buying 8 of these in total and found the set up and integration with Amazon Alexa very simple. The lights replaced some 60W non dimmable bulbs and they respond well to simple voice commands. One thing I hadn't banked on was how easy it was to set a single circuit of bulbs to be grouped according to where they are placed....Ie of the six bulbs on one circuit in the large barn living room I can set individual bulbs to respond to voice commands such as "Alexa switch on TV lights" or "Alexa turn off Dining room lights" or even "Alexa dim stairs lights" This overlapping grouping and naming function made these much more useful than I had expected. They still work of course on the conventional and original light switches in case Alexa goes down or you loose the internet but remember they need to be power up by the light switch being left on if you want full remote and voice control. Setting auto on and off timers via the downloadable app is also handy to come home to a lit house etc. So far very happy to recommend although I would question those who think they will save them money as it'll be several years before you break even at todays energy costs vs the purchase price. That being said the benefits outweigh the costs in my opinion and I like the flexibility it gives to existing lighting circuits especially if like us you have many lights on the same single circuit.

really easy to set up, fantastic for reminding and setting bed times for my children to save me going up and down stairs for bedtime lights out and then nagging to turn light off. I just dim it remotely and then its on a timer to turn off. they love it too as can have different colours, a reading light and so on. My teenager particulalry finds it helpful - it will turn off when he is on the computer, he finishes what he is doing STRAIGHT AWAY and actually goes to bed. I should have been born a light bulb and would cause less family arguments.The app is great and can be linked to alexa so can be voice controlled from your kindle. There is a blue light when remotely turned off which my youngest son didn't like at first and then has to get up to switch off at light switch but now seems to have adjusted to having it - it is very faint.*added information - one of the bulbs developed a fault and the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL - I would certainly buy this product and from this company again

This is a nicely built product which doesn’t feel cheaply built. Setup is a bit confusing at first, but if you take your time and read the instructions step by step you will have it up and running in no time.• Built nicely.• Brigtness is good.• Convenience.• Multicolour and Brightness settings.• Responsive and stable connection.
