This is a good product, a little bit smaller than I imagined
This was a good purchase and a good product. My only complaint was, I imagined it to be a little bit larger. It is just as described that was my fault for not checking the size before I purchased. Otherwise it was worth the money and a nice little starter kit. I do recommend.

Instructions are not too accurate
So I tried to set this up according to the directions in the box. First off, know that this is primarily made for smaller Euro mount mic stands, although an adapter is included.When I installed it per the directions, the adapter did not fit tightly on the mount, so I had to use mic washers to take up the space.Then when I got it all together, my LDC mic was over the top of the screen which defeats the purpose.Through trial and error, I wound up hooking it up backwards, so that the filter mounts on the adapter instead of the mic stand. Works great that way. Just be aware you’ll need to do some trial and error to get everything working right.

Well built Microphone Isolation Shield. Heavy, with a metal (not plastic) grill on the back. Came with handy hardware to adapt with microphone and stand. Only came with a cheap, open-ended sack to carry the item around in. Would've been more appropriate to supply something more substantial, for something as heavy as this Microphone Isolation Shield. You'll most likely NOT be able to mount this unit on a boom arm, unless it's heavy duty, or counter-weighted on the opposite side of the boom arm. But this Microphone Isolation Shield sits nicely directly on top of a microphone stand. I'm very happy with this item, and I think most people would be as well.

Mobile Recording Studio
I have been a musician for almost two decades. Over the years I have had to travel to Nashville in order to record quality music. As the prices of studio time have gone up, I have slowly begun buying my own equipment to record at home. I made a small recording studio under my stairs (sound proof Harry Potter closet). I was trying to find a way to have extra sound proofing on my microphone that would fit in a small space. This little item hit the spot. Very compact and portable. The difference in audio quality is night and day. And, my wallet doesn’t feel much lighter after the purchase!
