Renaissance Henna Hair Colour Kit

It does what it says it will do. I was really nervous about using hendigo to colour my hair as I'd heard nightmarish stories from my hairdresser friend, but took the plunge & except for the amount of time it takes to apply & set, it was easy as pie. Will be doing this again for sure. I haven't mastered the colour yet, being new at this, but my hair feels normal - not at all dry like it feels when I use regular hair colour.

I would give this a full 5 stars but my hair dye had burst inside foil packaging so it went everywhere when I opened it 😩

No good. Instruction leaflet, not user friendly. Too expensive for what it claimed to do. It ended up in mybin.

I have used this product for a few years and have always found it to be very good and achieve excellent results.

Not as messy as I thought and ended up with a pretty natural looking colour. Good clear instructions. Great product.

Impressed when I first used this - completely pure henna & indigo with nothing else added to it. It's messy and takes hours, but end result very good when I first used it - it covered my 100% grey hair very well. Hair was in better condition after using it too - shinier and thicker, and colour deeper than chemical dyes.However when I used it again it was a different story - had endless problems with the Indigo - it turned my grey roots green - even though I'd already hennared them. Put more henna and indigo on to cover up the green but this made my hair completely black, which will never fade. Tried bleaching it to get rid of the black and that made my hair blue. So now nothing I can do except wait for it to grow out, which will take a year. Woman who runs company very helpful and supportive but nothing she suggested worked to lighten my hair. So will never use this again.
