Big Bible Challenge (E100)

Bought for a friend

Have tried this with my 6 yr old - gave up! Not well laid out, and odd questions that aren't easy for me to answer!

This book is easy to use and is great. The stories are good and i like how it puts them in context as well as having craft ideas and things to chat about.

I bought this Bible Challenge  Big Bible Challenge (E100)  for my daughters aged 6 and 4 as I thought it would have loads of pictures and relevant quizzes to help make bible reading time more fun for them. However it turned out to be a more like a Big book of questions and bible references and no stories!!! So I will still need to buy another Bible for them and use this one as a support. It was not the adventure we were looking for.

This book is beautiful, and well constructed. It is full of information and provides a real whistle-stop tour of key Bible passages. It will require a lot of adult input unless the child is a real thinker and spends a lot of time delving into books. I have made the mistake of buying it for use with my 4 year old (as I said, my mistake), and he is too little to do much more than look at and talk about the pictures, which I maintain is stilla good starting point... Nevertheless I do anticipate it being a real use in later years. I enjoy it anyway!!
