Great device
Bought for elderly parents who have lots of flower pots. The only downside they have found is if the pot is slightly bulbous you cannot use the trolley as the handle and supports cannot be adjusted

Easy to put together - works well - few niggles
This dolly is very easy to put together. It literally took five minutes, however I found one of the screws for the neck wouldn't go fully in. I tried to swap it to the other side but again, it wouldn't go fully into the hole. The instructions are lacking and could explain better, for example there's a washer but no indication where this goes. I worked it out in the end that it sat on the main screw but the images don't help if I'm honest. There's two pins which sit in the bottom bracket but just slide up and down. I'm not sure of I'm supposed to open these pins (image attached showing them in place) or if they're supposed to sit freely. They fall out when turned upside down or moved erratically and could be easily lost. The centre lock section is adjustable and the handle can be moved up and down to accommodate different sizes. I noticed this locking mechanism could be pulled upward easily but locked on the down motion. You just have to be careful when using it.It isn't suitable for flat plant pots, you basically slide the bottom bracket under so there needs to be slight clearance. You can slide and lift a flat pot onto it but it kinda defeats the whole reasoning around using it.I have a very bad back so any assistance in the garden is greatly appreciated.Due to the fact it doesn't go under flat pots I'm giving it a four but if you have clearance it works pretty well. With some assistance you can place different types on it and lock in but as mentioned above that defeats the whole purpose in my view. You can then slide the locking mechanism and this will clamp the top of the pot. There are two dampeners on the main dolly which press against your pots and with the base bracket hold well.It isn't suitable for wider pots. The wheels prevent you from going wider. Smaller square or circular are fine.

For lighter pots only
This is a large and quite bulky item which nevertheless comes in useful when moving pots. The instructions supplied are a bit lacking and I ended up with pins and washers with no obvious place to put them so it takes a bit of trial and error. The listing states the suction cups should be attached to the pot, but since they are hard plastic with holes in them it wouldn’t be possible, even if it were possible to suction something onto terracotta or concrete. There’s a sliding hook which can be used to secure pots with a little extra hold so they stay in place. The wheels are hard plastic so this is a very bumpy ride and they sink badly into gravel or soft ground, so really this works better for lightweight pots - probably ones you could easily carry anyway! Inflated rubber tyres would make this much more useful. So therefore I’d say it’s more for those who need assistance with lighter weights and not so much for carrying heavy pots.

A fail for us, sadly
Firstly, don’t rely on the description. I don’t believe the frame is stainless steel, as stated in the description. Nor is it powder-coated, as stated in one of the pictures. Mine is chromed steel, unless I’m much mistaken. And the plastic parts are black, not green.Ignoring that, we don’t find it very functional. Assembly is straightforward, although don’t tighten the grub screws that hold the two parts of the handle together until you’ve fitted the lower part of the handle to the wheel assembly – that way, you can make sure the top part of the handle is angled towards you.It doesn’t work as easily as they suggest in one of the images. We found we couldn’t usually slide the locking bar into place as the final step before lifting. We had to angle the caddy forwards (or the pot backwards) to hook the locking bar in place first. Once that was done and the pot was ready to go, we found that quite a lot of strength was needed, with heavy pots, to tilt the caddy back. It would have been almost as easy to lift the pot without the caddy. I don’t think the caddy would work with a pot that was too heavy for us to lift. The benefit of the caddy, of course, is that it’s easier to wheel the pot, once it’s on the caddy, than it would be to carry it…but not as easy as you might imagine. The caddy with pot proved tricky to move on soft or uneven ground, let alone gravel, and keeping it balanced (so that it didn’t topple forward or fall back) was tricky.Next problem – when on the move, the pot tilts a long way towards you, so soil tends to fall out. Finally, putting the pot back down is hard work. It takes quite a lot of strength to stop the caddy and pot landing with a hard bump or even tipping over.My wife found it very hard to use the caddy. It wasn’t easy for me either – I’m just as happy lifting and carrying a pot or putting it in the wheelbarrow.I can see this being useful for some people in some gardens, hence three stars rather than one, but we’ve given up on it and don’t feel it’s worth the space it was going to take in the garage.

Great for moving large plant pots
Fairly easy to assemble although instructions were not the best. Quite bulky to store.
