Lonely Planet Bangkok (Travel Guide)

I have really enjoyed reading thus travel book and it has some great suggested on what to see and do in Bangkok. I'll be moving there in a few months so it has helped me to get a feel of the country.

It arms you with knowledge and know-how for getting the most out of Bangkok. Now I want to go back!

Well written guide however would recommend the author warn us of busy sites where busloads full of tourists tend to accumulate. Good tips on Tuk-tuk and motorcycle bargaining - I always seemed to negotiate around 50% discount. Could use a map of BTS & MRT routes with fares. The maps were of no use to me - needs more details.

Lonely Planet guide books are my go to resource when traveling. This is no exception as it provides extremely useful information about my Bangkok destination. It helped in my decision-making about which sights to visit in the city.

I received this guide in just a couple of days and I am very happy with it! It has a detachable map of the city and of the transportation. It is very detailed and gives many insights on the life in the city and on the best ways to enjoy a short holiday or a long stay in the Thai capital!

このシリーズが、各国、各都市についてどれだけ網羅しているか？、を知ると、＝全世界でどれだけの信頼を置かれているシリーズであるか、がわかります。パリで、この本だけで十分に満喫できました。電池残量やWi-Fiスポットなど、一切気にしなくて良いのも、大きなメリットです(笑)。
