OK - it's not as tasty as some - but there is no distaste at all. I easily accept this as a superb tradeoff for a truly healthy protein bar. This lemon-cashew is the first flavor I've tried - maybe another has more pop for my taste buds - but, again, I do not care about that but instead seek the "better" alternative. I will not be going back to the more traditional protein bar that comes in 20 flavors. I'm ex-Army, and I wish I had a backpack full of these bars versus the c-rations and candy bars they gave us back in the early 1970s when we went into the field. THANK YOU.

So I happen to enjoy most Rise protein bars, first for the limited and clean ingredients and second because they are usually pretty tasty. I have to say, this is the first flavor I do not like! The texture is also a bit drier than the others. I am definitely not going to get through another one and now have a full box on my hands.

I bought these specifically for use in my emergency go-bags.Pro's: 300 calories so they can actually hold you for a while. Most bars are between 150-200 calories.Also, these are not too sweet. And They are pretty well balanced between protein and carbs, which is also important to me.A big mark for them is the ingredients list. I am allergic to soy, gluten, peanuts, corn, and dairy. It's really hard to find protein bars that can handle that criteria - these were one of the few.Cons: they don't taste super delicious. They are ok, not bad. Just not awesome. A little bland. But that is manageable for me. I imagine they would grow on me.Price. They are a bit expensive. But you are paying for quality ingredients so it's worth it.Overall I am very happy with this product.

These bars are fantastic! I have looked high and low for protein bars that are low sugar/glycemic index and don't contain soy. Rise protein bars fit the bill, and what's more, they do so with only about 5 all natural ingredients. This is amazing considering that almost all other protein bars have about 20 or more ingredients. Another pretty good option are Quest bars, but these taste way too sweet for me and that sweetness taste very fake.Sunflower cinnamon is my favorite flavor, mild and palatable, perfect for breakfast or a quick hit of protein any time. Cashew lemon is also pretty good. I'm not a fan of the other flavors, but you can order a variety pack and see for yourself.

I am a chocolate lover but can no longer tolerate it, unfortunately, so I look for carob options as a replacement. I really enjoy carob and find that it satisfies my chocolate cravings. I also try to eat a healthy diet and minimize toxins, so all of that combined makes it a bit challenging to find products that taste good and that are healthy.In particular, finding protein bars that have a chocolatey flavor using carob, but do not have a bunch of sugar and junk in them has been rather challenging. There are a few of them out there, and some of them are really good. Unfortunately, the Rise ones are not very tasty. They are pretty dry, and there's a weird sour type aftertaste. I did find them more palatable by putting a scoop of carob-hazelnut spread on top first, and that worked okay.

I've been purchasing this for months now. When I first purchased them the we moist and tasted decent for a protein bar. Slowly have seen the quality decrease. This batch is very dry and difficult to swallow.to expensive for the quality of what you receive. You can never be sure what you are going to bite into. Latest box of lemon cashew, I’ve had dry crumbly and so sour to moist and pleasant lemon flavor. Please work on consistency

Tastes good, texture is pleasant, macros and ingredients are good for me.
