The centre support for the clothes rail in our built-in wardrobe broke a few months ago. I got a like-for-like replacement from Toolstation which was a cast metal loop of the same type. However, it snapped after less than a year due to the weight of clothes on the rail. I decided to look for something more sturdy and found these brackets. They are solid steel strips which have been bent into the required shape to form the bracket, rather than cast metal like the previous brackets I used. I only needed one of the brackets in the pack, and it was easy to fit into the same place as the previous bracket and, although it's early days, I can't imagine that there will be any issues with this bracket snapping. Sure, they're not the prettiest, but given they're inside a wardrobe and slung under a shelf, it's not like they're on prominent display. In any case, I'm much more interested in their function rather than their look. Since this is a two-pack, I have a spare. Well worth the money.

Good strong brackets that will support much more weight than the plastic items they replaced - but can still be bent slightly to the exact shape or depth required to suit your rail. Bend carefully or the chrome plating can crack but no detriment to the brackets strength. Recommended.

Did not fit my 1970's Schreiber wardrobe - had to be returned as they did not fit

perfect for giving more support to wardrobe hanging rod - used a long rod and it sagged in the middle. One of these cured the problem.

These hangers are very well manufactured. The have done the job that I bought them for. Good value for money.

My pole had come down in the wardrobe so I fitted these . What I liked was the fact you can manipulate them to fit higher if needed.
