Hager MTN120 Miniature Circuit Breaker, 1 Pole, 1 Module, Type B, 6 kA Breaking Capacity, 20 A Current

As I am a qualified electrician, I needed to add an outside socket circuit to my HAGER consumer unit, as there was a spare position available this MCB was perfect for the job, supplying two outside sockets. This is a very good quality MCB at a good price, it arrived well packaged and early. The supplier is excellent and I would buy from them again.

Added a radial circuit to my garage from the consumer unit to this 20A breaker. Fits perfectly, standard clip-on fitting with small pull down tab to secure it at rear.

I bought this brand as all the other MCBs were like this in my consumer box, so this fitted into the CU and looks the same as the others. Of course, MCBs of Type B are all the same for fitting into consumer units but you never know if it would look odd, or stick out a bit more. Since I bought it, it has gone down a bit in price which sounds like a bargain to me!

I needed to upgrade my 16A MCB to 20A. Unfortunately the original was made by CLIPSAL and these are no longer available. After some research I came across the HAGER. This is the only type that will fit the CLIPSAL consumer unit.
