When I finally used the product quite a few months later the garlic was totally dried out. There were only 6 usable cloves per 2 pound bag, very disappointing. It seems like I was sold old garlic and it should have lasted longer. This was my second time ordering. The first batch was good but not the second batch.

The garlic was of good quality when it arrived and when it was planted in the late fall. Heavily mulched with straw as my other garlic bulbs , about 80% did not make it,I had about 10-15% loss on my other bulbs. Perhaps this is not suitable for the mid- Atlantic region

This was my second time buying 2 bags (4 lbs.) of garlic from this company. Strangely, one of the bags that I just received seemed like they poured in the bottom of the barrel remnants to make the weight. There were handfuls of loose skins and at least 40 loose cloves in the bag. (There were lots of intact heads of garlic also in the bag). I ordered garlic in bulk to make black garlic and the loose cloves really don’t help me in that cause. The second bag had all nice heads, very few if any loose cloves, and not nearly as much debris. The first time I ordered one head of garlic was molded to the point of turning to dust. Seems like maybe the company slips in some of their junk to cut their losses. At little disappointing, but still I am happy to have a source to buy pounds of garlic.

The cloves look to be nice and fat but when you go to skin them they break up into 3 to 6 smaller cloves each with a skin on it.....really adds to the tedium of prep work

Very good quality, price and taste also very fresh. will buy it again. had a small mix up on shipping but was corrected very quick.

Seemed like a good idea; I use garlic regularly. Have no problem cleaning and saving garlic. But if the product arrives, dried up, mushy, rotten and unusable, not much chance I'll order this again. Sad. Grocery stores are there of a reason. Buy it there not here. Christopher Ranch have good products; this is not their best effort or idea.
