These are terrific! Why did it take me so long to put these on? There is so much less waste and now I feed chicks every few days instead of twice a day. These are great.

My chickens were wasting so much feed but not anymore. This is a great feeder. Highly recommend. We used a plastic tote with a lid instead of a bucket.

I don’t usually post reviews, but I was so pleased with that and product of this I had to share! Drilling through the metal can was fairly easy with the provided 3 inch hole drillbit. Additionally, the difficulty with the ports wobbling around on smooth plastic buckets and such is not an issue on the metal can- perhaps due to the on even edges. I will update once the chicks have started to use it. I highly recommend using a metal can to avoid more plastic out there in the world and it will last many lifetimes, and if and when you are done with it, it can be recycled!

Effective & the plugs do their job at night. Our girls took about 10 days to fully convert.

I absolutely love this! The chickens who do use it - there is hardly any waste, my others however are dumb as a box of rocks and refuse to eat out of it.

These have been so helpful since I was licking good up at night to keep from attracting possums. Now I just plug up the bucket when I lock the chicken coop. No water has gotten in and we’ve have some heavy rain. Recommend if, like me. you are not wanting a treadle feeder or something expensive.
