Pinkie Pie Keeps A Secret (My Little Pony: Passport to Reading, Level 1) Library Binding – April 12, 2016

This book is just about the right reading level for my daughter who is in first grade. She needed help with a few words the first time we read it together, but now that she is familiar with it, she breezy right through the story. The paper pages and thin cover are the reason I gave it 4 stars, as they will not hold up as well to wear and tear of some higher quality paperback books.

My kindergartener loves MLP and has seen the episode the book is about. But she doesn't mind that one bit. She enjoys trying to read it, but there are quite a few big words to keep her from being able to read it on her own. Overall a good book for the price.

Cute book and very fun to read! Sadly, my daughter doesn't like reading books more than once. Maybe she'll enjoy it more when she gets a bit older and they start reading in school. (she's 6, but ended up in kindergarden because of her birthday)

My three year old daughter loves MLP, and I think it's intended for a little more bigger kids, she loves everything about it. I bought her this book since we (mostly mom) reads her some books at night time, and she just loves it.It is written in a way that small children, including toddlers can see the pictures while adults (or children themselves) can read.Love these series.

My daughter loves My LIttle Pony, so I bought her several of these level 1 beginning to read books. The stories are very engaging for her and she loves the fact she's beginning to recognize words.

This book was purchased as a Birthday book for my daughter who was turning 6. She loves this book. She can read it mostly by herself but there are some words she needs help with. It is a cute story that my little girl really enjoys.

My niece loved the books, however, the print could stand to be a bit bigger and so would the book itself. If it were hardcover, it would last longer too. I fear that with her wear n' tear tendencies, they may not last very long! The content is great though and she loves her Little Pony series.

All MLP books are sure to be loved at my house. Cute story.

I bought this to encourage my child's reading. She was very keen to read it, which was great. However, I did not realise that 'stage 1' meant read together, rather than easy read, so be aware many of the words will be too tricky for an early reader.
