Does this come with an extra scoring wheel? How long do they normally last?

Hello thank you for your question The tiler cutter includes 1 cutting wheel, which comes already installed on the tile cutter. The cutting wheel if treated correctly, is very reliable and would last the average tile installer approx 1 month, if they are using the cutter every single day. The cutter wheel is very easy to replace and is available from amazon under the item name Montolit 245T replacement wheel. The tile cutter has 2 plugs to store fresh replacement wheels if you want to keep extra wheels onhand.

Are those blue parts near the carbide plastic?

Yes. Hard plastic. Probably need to be plastic so the tile doesn't get scratched. Btw, I love this tool!

What's the biggest tile this will cut

It has a 25” capacity, but will safely cut at 24”. So you could square cut anything up to a 24x24 and diagonally cut up to an 18x18 safely in half. (I love mine and actually bought the 49” version also, 21 years as a tile guy)
