I expected a cylinder shape but it is slightly coned shape.
It does show how an Archimedes screw works however for some reason it has a long cone shape instead of cylinder. It definitely demonstrates well and that’s the main purpose. My purpose was something else so I was thrown off by the cone taper. Otherwise it works as it should it’s just not a cylinder.

Für mich leider nicht brauchbar!
Die Archmedes-Schrauben wurden gekauft, um im Grundschulunterricht das Prinzip der niederländischen Windmühlen in früherer Zeit zu erklären. Leider sind sie völlig unbrauchbar, da sie weder mit Wasser, noch mit kleinen Holzperlen, noch mit Reis, Mehl usw. funktionieren. Also wirklich überhaupt nicht. Sehr, sehr schade.... Ich hatte mir von einem Produkt, das speziell für den Unterricht hergestellt wird, deutlich mehr erhofft. Leider habe ich gleich den Viererpack bestellt. Völliger Fehlkauf!
