I couldnt find what I wanted in the white colour. So I settled on this one and I'm glad I did. I am creating a Smart Home and this unit was very easy to add. Looks great too!

Bought to run OpenWRT. Works great and half the cost of a Linksys E8450. Needs to boot via restore mode to install OpenWRT firmware so power on while keeping the reset button pressed. Fantastic deal.

Work way better than old router as far as speed . No surprise old router was really old. About the same coverage. Easy to set up

bought 2 and one always gave spotty slow wifi.

I have 2 of these and i should have sent them back within the first couple of days but i figured i would do some updates and go thru setting but issue was Constant drop outs and resetting. Even after firmware updates and settings changed. Nothing but issues and even when it is works the wifi seems slow and doesn't seem to broadcast very far. But main issue is it just randomly drops out and resets itself. Completely restarts at minimum twice a day within a 7 hour period. nothing on error log or anything. Drops out wifi and lan both but modem is still active so modem is still suppling internet as i check it with my laptop by direct connecting.
