This is the third gallon i bought and for the first time 100% sure they change the ingredients because you can smell alcohol since you spread the oil in your hands…I took some time to open this gallon after bought because I still have a left over from my last one so I did it a few weeks ago and filled out all my containers as used. I smelled it but didn’t took it as serious until two regular clients mentioned allergies after my massage and i directed connected it with the alcohol smell. Unfortunately the return time already expired but I will open a claim with Amazon and try to find another good oil

As a massage therapist looking for clean organic oils, I decided to try this one. At first, it was amazing, it was easy to work with and glides over the muscle smoothly. My biggest complaint is the aftersmell. I cannonot get the smell out of my sheets. I have restored to using bleach and nothing works. My sheets aren't stained. The smell is a rancid oil and leaves this scent in my room. I do not like my clients to lay on the face cradle as this is what they smell. I'm very disappointed and I bought the gallon size. This oil is a little thick. It's not as heavy a jojoba but it's getting there. It has a long lasting lubrication. The oil is light in color and I couldn't smell an particular scent. It would be good as a carrier oil for your favorite fragrances.

My spa had this on subscribe and save and the first two deliveries were fine but the last bottle we received we got halfway through the bottle and it started to smell heavily of isopropyl alcohol. We used this to mix with essential oils and scented oils and when it started to smell so did all the other things it was mixed with. It cost us hundreds of dollars of product. I liked the oil for massage until this but now I’m left questioning how it’s processed and what is in it to have it breakdown like it did. Spa owners beware.

This massage oil has excellent glide yet is not greasy or sticky. It has minimal ingredients: sunflower seed oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, and tocopherol. From my research, caprylic/capric triglyceride is usually made by combining coconut or palm kernel oil with glycerin. It creates a barrier on the skin's surface and provides slipperiness but is non-greasy. This oil is fragrance free, nut free, paraben free, cruelty free, and vegan. There is absolutely no scent to this product. It applies easily and provides good workability for massage. It is not slippery and allows you to make good gliding strokes with just enough resistance. It is very hydrating and does not leave a greasy residue. After test applying on my arm and massaging for a few minutes, I rubbed with a paper towel to check for any residue and the towel was completely clean. It left my skin very soft. Being fragrance free allows you to add in therapeutic essential oils if desired. The gallon size is quite economical. It transferred easily into pumps that I have on hand. It is made in the USA.
