I've been so happy with my shantihi yoga towel, this was the first brand I looked for to buy a new mat and I'm loving it already. The mat is really sturdy / stays put during hot vinyasa and bikram classes, there's a different tread on top and bottom (see pic). It's definitely thicker and slightly longer than other mats I've used (see pic) which makes a very positive difference for me, especially in balancing and prone poses. Highly recommend. Note: I'm very sensitive to smells, and was a little worried because I noticed an odor when I removed the packaging right as I headed to class for use. However, it did not bother me during class and I even TRIED to sniff it out when in some prone poses, but it was no longer noticible. The mat cleaned easily after class with no lingering odor from packaging or sweat. Also, i loved the bonus ebook with poses, pics, and info about different benefits and modifications. I'm really pleased with this business and its products.

Has enough cushion, but still allows you to have firm footing for balance poses. Keep a towel handy if you are in a heated class.

I have Shantihi’s hot yoga towels so I was quite pleased to find out that they now have yoga mats too. Being a bit of an environmentalist, I’m glad that they choose to go with the eco friendly TPE material instead of the nasty PVC or cheap foam mats which are terrible for the environment as they do not biodegrade. The mat itself is made well. Grippy on the surface, doesn’t smell and cleans easily. Happy with my purchase!

Super excited about this yoga mat! I ordered from them because I also have their hot yoga towel (which I love using too). The mat is thick enough to support my poses, but still firm enough for balancing. I posted some pics of my yoga teacher doing moves on the mat (she makes this look way better than me!). She can do a perfect handstand on the mat without any issues. Would highly recommend this mat and this brand to anyone!

I absolutely love this mat. The quality is there. It feels amazing, and after showing it to my boyfriend he realized he needed a new mat too, and I got him the same one but in black, while mine is blue. My boyfriend said sweat isn't a problem and it doesn't stick to him like his old mat did. It moves on the floor sometimes but that's usually my fault in the type of workout I do.

It came very quick. Good quality. It was a gift so I do not know what the user will think but it appears to be as advertised.

This yoga mat does what it is suppose to do. There are a few things that I dislike. I ordered the black one, and it stains my hands and feet black. Not super bad, but my husband did think I was bruised. Also this mat hurts my hands. Whenever I have to do anything that has me putting my weight on my hands, they hurt. I started putting my hands on the ground. But those are my only complaints. The mat is super long, I highly recommend it to any tall person. The mat doesn't slip on the floor and my hands and feet don't slip on the mat. Overall, it's an okay mat. Not great, but not terrible.

Great mat! Thick and comfortable, keeps my body and joints supported. Has good stick on the underside so it won't slide around, and just enough grip on the topside so I can hold my poses without slipping, but can still move smoothly. Reasonably priced, too! I've been very pleased with this mat!
