Small Worm Feeder Ledge Granite - Magnetic Decor

The Magnaturals small worm feeder is working well for us in a 12x12x18 (18" tall) tank for a crested gecko. We didn't expect a quite as large a dish / depression. We are not using it for food because it fits a 4" potted plant perfectly and we have put an inexpensive plastic liner (picked up at local hardware) padded with moss to keep our flat leaf (can't remember actual plant name) plant up off the floor of the tank.If you have a reptile that you feed worms it would probably work well for that but we can't review for that because don't feed him worms. We hoped it would work for a small dish of repashy, but the hole for the dish is way too big for the 2 oz cups we have and the worm dish is too big to put repashy it and keep it from drying out quickly.The magnets hold well, but follow the directions carefully or it isn't quite stable. It definitely works for our small cresty but anything much larger or anything with claws wouldn't do well with this product.

I bought this for my crested gecko to use as a "bed" rather than a feeding dish. I had previously purchased a ledge with two bowls -- one for food and one for water. Whenever the food bowl was empty, my crestie would curl up in the hole and sleep during the day. I bought this one and hid it up high covered in leaves and now this is his favorite hiding/sleeping spot. He is there ALL day, EVERY day. So much easier to clean than a cave and we can sneak peaks at him or take him out easily as well. We love this.

Each comes with 2 magnets. I didn't use this for feeding, rather I flip it over and just use it for basking.** Note: MUST wash (not just rinse I mean wash) with warm water, before use, this thing feels grainy with bits of I don't know what attached (feels like it was roll in sand), all those grey sandish bits came off after the wash, as gecko explore with tongue, can't imagine them ingesting those bits. Dry it in the sun (for a day) before use.

Well made and realistic looking. Sags a little under its own weight when used on a wire screen chameleon cage but it’s not super noticeable.

Works better for smaller feeders but realistic and practical... Super glue Velcro to cup and inside rock if for Cham because tongue will pull out bowl

Made out of some thick foam. Would have preferred a strong plastic. The magnet is on the weaker side. However, still functional.

I use it as an elevated water dish for my crested geckos and they love it! They'll lay around it sometimes (on the ledge) and use it to jump to different parts of their terrarium.
