Excellent... Unlike blackout blinds that usually still let light through (either through the fabric itself or past the sides of the blinds) this is completely 100% blackout. Fabric let's zero light through and as long as you cut to the correct size to the frame of the window and ensure you attach it stretched firmly across the frame there is no light seepage at all.. room is pitch black in the middle of the day...Back is a reflective material (bit like foil) and the front is black material a bit like canvas.As per title better than blackout roller blinds for keeping out the light however a more permanent install - can remove and reinstall as attached by velcro but obviously not as easy as rolling up a roller blind..Very happy with this material.

I haven’t made a particularly neat job, I didn’t lay it out flat for long enough and the material was creased at its packing folds.However, there’s loads left and now the sun is rising earlier - my dog Lily isn’t rising with it!I could probably do that door another 3 times with what’s left over and there are plenty of sticky pads (I used 4 on each pane of glass).Comes with tape and scissors (although I used my own scissors as they are larger).

Moved into a new place a few weeks ago, the ground level is the 'up-stairs' and the bedrooms are in what would be basement level. The problem with the living space is the rather big skylight. When the sun is out, it is close to 40 degrees Celsius inside with all windows and doors open. This blackout sheet was delivered yesterday, installed last night and instantly I can notice the difference. Of course much less light in the room but at least I am not forced out of the house by 11am because of the heat any more. Only a few hours into the first day, but it really does appear to make a huge difference. The only problem I have is that the bits of velcro are not really enough to hang a sheet this large to a ceiling. A vertical window yet, but much trickier to work with a ceiling sky light. I would suggest enough velcro tape to cover the entire length of the edges for a sky light

Absolutely fantastic product, so easy to install/fit. Ordered for my sons room but managed to do 3 rooms with a small amount left over. The rooms are now pitch black 🙌🏼

Not just it is fit for purpose, it comes with all what you need even scissors. Perfect in blocking all the light and have multiple options with the velcro/sticky pads.

Excellent blackout curtain/blind. I advise using very sharp scissors to cut this to fit.
