Some good scenery, but far too much moaning.
This series about the two brothers travelling around China started out promising. The idea is good, and it seemed like there would be potential for a good series in the early episodes. Chinese scenery is always great to see. Even if the premise of the series means they are limited to sticking to the peripheral borderlands of China.Unfortunately though, the two brothers ruin the programme moaning about almost everything, which wears very thin in the last two episodes, when the filming becomes all about them over the scenery. This is a real shame, since these two are about as charismatic and funny as a tree. They sum up in the final episode that they tried to take positives from the negative experiences. I thought we British were supposed to be renowned for moaning, but we've got nothing on these two and far more reason to moan if we do. You two are on a once in a life time bike ride, after all. What's to moan about? Man up.If only they'd taken suitable clothing (it seems like they failed to take waterproofs or at least decent ones and are always wringing wet or moaning about the cold (at -1 this is odd, since I thought Canada sees far worse)), and chose not to obsess about toilets and dung in one form or another, this might have been a lot better.Overall then, some good scenery at times, but skip the last two episodes.

Two brothers moaning all the time
This sounds like an epic road trip in an amazing country, however you are very quickly asking yourself why are they doing this as they are complaining and moaning from minute one. The planning phase is 48 hours for such a journey then blame the country for not having Sat Navs etc. They are not carrying any luggage, support vehicles and camera crew with them and they stay in hotels all the time. That is a holiday not an adventure tour. Adventure riding and travelling on a motorbike is great but this programme makes it sound like a night mare. Ohh and who rides on those type of roads with NO gloves!!! That was episode one, will give episode two a go but not holding my breath.

Could have been amazing.
A Royal Enfield ride through India is probably the greatest thing you could film, but the hosts? They have zero personality, they whinge constantly and never break pitch from a boring monotonous drone. That and one of them seems to be using a 240p resolution potato to film with. Then there's also the infamous Amazon Prime audio mix of really quiet speech and really loud music.

staged and boring
one bike blows a clutch, fair enough, other bike gets a nice new shiny nail in the back tyre, hammered straight in, no sign of road scuffing on the head, and 500 miles from the nearest source of nails, what are the odds of that ?Man up and admit it was too cold and wet so you sabotaged your bike so you could ride in the truck too lolOh yeah, riding too fast into a tight bend on off road tyres, on the road, in the wet means you are coming off lolApart from that, both treated a once in a lifetime trip as a chore and couldn't wait to get home!typical rich boy Canadians

3 episodes in...
All these two do is moan. Considering they are on motorbikes they complain when it rains, traffic and when they are not permitted to do something in another country to theirs. They do however like wind farms. Hopefully this review doesn't put you off.

Felt too rushed.
The photography was quite good, but unlike Long Way Round I never felt like I was really involved. The early episodes were...in my opinion, sort of boring. I was about to rate it 3 starts but the later episodes pulled it up to nearly a 4. As someone else mentioned, it seemed over edited in order to fit a small time frame....and I very much agree.Would I recommend buying....well, maybe if only for the scenery. Long Way Round/Down was much more compelling in my honest opinion.

Could be worse.
So, this is an interesting concept, but could have been done better. It seemed over edited to fit time constraints.First, the negative. Both guys seem to complain constantly. The younger brother makes a lot of disrespectful comments and doesn't even possess elementary knowledge about China. A little research about a place you plan to visit seems standard. Also, neither guy seems to know much about bikes. I found that odd.On a positive note, cool scenery and it seemed like a cool trip. I found it somewhat entertaining. The older brother seemed to have a genuine appreciation for China. All in all, it was inexpensive and mildly entertaining.
