I don't have to look around for batteries, but if I ever misplace this one, or if the battery gets wet or dies in some other way, then I imagine it will be pretty hard to replace.It comes with two bottles of bubble fluid ready to go, plus five small packs of bubble concentrate. I was rather surprised how quickly I went through the first bottle. I ran through that and a couple minutes, and maybe 15 or 20 rounds of bubbles. In the hands of an excited group of children, you would blow through bubbles like nobody's business. Not too hard to make a bunch of your own, though. I would recommend doing that in advance, so you can keep the party going.Obviously, this is not the type of bubble machine that you set aside and let make a continuous stream of bubbles. It's a handheld toy, so if you want the bubbles you have to actively be using it.On the first bottle of bubble fluid, I eventually found that the bubbles were coming out stuck together, like a giant floating bubble snake. I resolved that issue by rinsing off the front of the bubble gun, and letting the fan blow until it was cleaned out.I know this will be a big hit at parties.Hope this was helpful!

After charging the battery, my little ones played with this bubble gun for a while. The gun itself has a lot of small holes, so the bubbles are plentiful, but small. The tray for the bubble mixture is just the right size to fit the end of the bubble gun.The gun came with bubble mixture, tray for the bubble mixture, & rechargeable battery pack.

This is basically a big fan in a box, with a plate with a bunch of short tubes in front of it. Dipping the front into solution and then pulling the trigger engages the fan and produces a ton of bubbles.I have noticed that if you try to make your own solution (with dish soap), if the ratio is off, the bubbles are too heavy to fly away and instead collect on the front of the gun. It looks more like it's foaming at the mouth. This does come with a number of solution packets to make your own but once you run out, getting this ratio right does make a difference.It makes a TON of bubbles for a short amount of time before having to re-dip. So in other words, it's not a bubble machine that will continuously make bubbles for minutes/hours. It's a short burst of a TON of bubbles.The battery is in the handle and is rechargeable which is nice, though it requires removing the battery to charge.

I bought some of the more common ones of these for the kids and OMG are they AMAZING!! I then had to buy my own to one-up the ones that the kids have... These throw out so many bubbles!! More like a bubble machine than your typical small automatic bubble gun. The light effects are really cool with the bubbles at night!Make sure you buy extra bubbles because you will go through them very quickly with these. I also thought the included bubbles smelled a little funny/off, but it could've just been me. Those minor quips aside, just buy these if you're thinking of one! They are so much fun and you or the kids will love them!!

Ok so this gun was good for about 5 minutes maybe even less before it stopped letting off bubbles. I followed the instructions to a T and still after a few minutes of nice beautiful bubbles it seems like the fan stopped working hard enough to make the bubbles fly so them it turned into like large soap suds and now it doesn’t blow anything at all when dipped in the solution.
