Jipped On Warranty! False Says 1-Year Manufacture
Purchased This Item And Received Last Wednesday March 19, 2025..Warranty as you advertised on amazon: Warranty & Upgrade Disclosure: Brand-new unit, resealed for a Memory/SSD upgrade. Comes with a 3-year warranty on upgraded Memory/SSD from Issaquah Highlands Tech and a 1-year manufacturer warranty on other components. However, Upon registration on Hp Its Says However, Upon registration on Hp Its Says Start Date: 10-14-2024.. Active, As I Checked Last checked On HP: 3/21/2025, Device is in warranty, Start date 10/14/2024 Estimated end date 10/13/2025, Only 6-Months, What happened to to 1-year? ,This Is False!

Not backlit and battery issues
From the day I received the laptop, the backlit keyboard function has not worked, and the battery lasts for about 50 minutes when not plugged in. I actually wondered if this was a returned unit sold as new. I am not satisfied. Other than those issues (which are the main reasons I wanted this particular laptop), everything else is fine.

Windows license issue
UPDATE: Vendor contacted me and I was able to activate the license by using a DOS command to retrieve the license code which was not on the box or in the paperwork that came with the laptop. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars.This computer was advertised as having Windows Pro 11. It is installed, but not licensed. So, I've ended up with a laptop that has no licensed Windows software. Tried to call the vendor. Number is wrong on the paperwork included with the computer. Used Google to get a valid phone number. No one answered and their voice mail is full.
