Bought this after our more expensive water urn stopped working properly, this one has very little to it so makes for a more reliable experience! The 8 litre capacity is great for my family as we are always drinking tea and coffee throughout the day and we aren't filling this up as often.The keep warm/auto boil function works as expected and the water is always hot enough for drinks each time we pour.Cleaning it is very simple as it's just a case of taking off the lid and rinsing it out.No problems with taste, just make sure to rinse it out before the first use etc.Appears durable enough to last a long time, highly recommended!

This is a really good size and very efficient, heats up quickly and stays warm. Only used it once and already limescale has built up but that could just be our water. It’s light to carry and the lid is secure. Drip tray isn’t connected which ia a bit frustrating as others we have had it’s been connected which has made it easier to use. We’ve not tried it yet full, only about a third full and it took about twenty minutes to boil up and then stays warm automatically and keeps warm for ages.

Only used this a couple of times since buying and no problems. Heats up in about 30 minutes then keeps warm, not bubbly boiling but hot enough for a decent brew. Only little drawback, which is probably the same with all urns, is emptying after use, there is always a bit left in the bottom which the tap can't release, so you you have to pick it up and empty it manually, and it is a bit hot! But the handles help and the top has a lock. All in all, pretty good for £50.

Bought for our daughter's wedding at the end of this month as we had to self cater due to caterer letting us down a few months before. Filled urn just over half way for cleaning and a test run, took just under 30 mins to heat and even after switching off the water stayed hot for a few hours. Easy to follow instructions and looks very professional. Outside does get very hot as you would expect but the handles are great once you have emptied it. Recommend for anyone looking for an urn for any event.

This worked brilliantly for a few months. Then a couple of days ago it started leaking. Very unhappy. We have kept it in the same place and position since day one so it's not been moved around. We used it most days and loved it then I walked into the kitchen and found the water had leaked out all over the counter and floor. Expected better than a few months use from something that cost a lot of money. Extremely disappointed and now have no hot water source again.EDIT: the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, they have no interest in helping you and keep copying and pasting the same automated reply every time I try to interact with them. AVOID as you'll get no help when your product breaks after a couple of months. Instead they mock you and then ignore you. Disgusting way to treat customers.

Love this as does wife. Makes a delicious beverage. Cheap to run. Keeps warm for ages then gives itself a boost every so often during the day. This is on more than ,12 hours a day and energy monitor plus readings show it to be more economical than the kettle. Ours holds 20 litres!
