My new favorite household gadget!
With 3 dogs that love the outdoors and shed, the floors in our house are in need of a cleaning on a very regular (and sometimes daily) basis. The Roborock has been amazing and makes me wonder why I waited so long to buy it! I’ve left my unbiased pros and cons below and also addressed other reviews about the smell.THE PROS: It is light and easy to move around. It cleans right up to the edge of the wall without any problems. It leaves the floors only a little damp and they dry within minutes. It self cleans AND deep self cleans. It has a fast dry setting as well as a silent dry setting, which dries the rollers out after they’ve been cleaned. The app is simple to install and easy to use. I have used it on carpet a few times to pick up spills, and even that worked like a charm!THE CONS: It doesn’t clean all of my floors without needing a bit of a charge in between (about 2800 square feet). It needs to be placed in an area that has a plug nearby, and the charging base might take up too much room for some people’s liking and/or have to be located in a public area rather than a utility or laundry area (we don’t have this problem but some might). The dirty water container can smell if it is not cleaned out (as does any similar container of any wet vacuum) after use or after running self-cleaning mode. I forgot to empty the container once after running the deep cleaning mode and the dirty water sat for several days. When I ran the vacuum the next time, I almost immediately noticed the smell and knew exactly what I forgot to do. However, I rinsed out the container and added some baking soda to the clean water container along with my normal OxyClean carpet/floor cleaning solution, ran the deep clean mode and the Roborock was as good as new. The worst thing was that I had to wait for the program to finish running before I could use it.IN SUMMARY: The Pros far outweigh really only 1 Con that I’ve experienced. For the money, it has been a fantastic little machine, one I only wished we had purchased much, much sooner!

Worth every penny!
The media could not be loaded. I never normally write reviews but this is a hidden gem that has to be shared!I have a Shark Hydrovac XL that I use 3+ times a week. It keeps my floors clean enough but after seeing raving reviews about the Roborock Dyad Pro I decided to see what all the hype is about and my oh my WHAT a difference! I'll list some things I found great from the start and then compare the two;First, the quality...yes it's not the cheapest vacmop out there but it oozes quality with all the little things like a hair cutter on the brush cleaner, non slip feet on the base, special tape that lets you know if it's been opened (we've all purchased something that we are sure someone has already used :/) and even the packaging boxes were superior quality. I felt like I was opening something worth the money it cost and had no concerns about the sturdiness of the unit.It came with a quick start guide, a full instruction manual and handy stickers on the unit itself so I felt pretty quickly like I had a good idea how to handle the large item and even felt confident downloading the app. This is my first app controlled device and so far the app is clear and concise.Second; ease of use vs the Shark Hydrovac. I did notice it was quite a bit taller than my Shark where the rollers are stored so I was worried about it getting into all the nooks and crannies but my Shark leaves a 2 inch gap wherever I clean because the roller doesn't reach. This product wasn't lying when it said it got within 1mm to the edge and I FINALLY feel like I am cleaning ALL of my floor so the trade off I felt was worth it and I can just move the couple of things it may not reach under. It is about the same weight as the Shark but the handling is like butter it's so easy and smooth and lightweight you would never know how heavy it is. One thing I really liked is the rollers were much easier to remove than the shark and the cleaning solution goes into a dispenser instead of diluting into the water tank. (I will update on how much cleaning solution it uses to see which is more cost effective)It came with an extra filter and enough charge to try it out which was nice as I'm not one to wait around when I open something. We had contractors in remodeling our house and it tackled dried on paint, debris, work boot grime and dust exceptionally well. It didn't get up all of the dry paint specks but I never expected it to that's more of a knees and scrub kind of thing.I LOVE that it is self cleaning and drying so my back doesn't have the added work of removing the rollers every time I use it. It is drying as I write this so I will update on how dry the rollers actually get! Overall I think if you are wanting something that will help you clean your floors regularly and encourage your family to help clean too this is a great investment. Time will tell how it withstands my busy and messy family but I'm pretty sure it's going to fill all of my expectations.10/10 would recommend especially if you have a bad back like me!

I really wanted to like this, but nope
I really wanted to like this machine. I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching what would be the best machine to replace my Bissel and chose this one. Big mistake. It put terrible "stripes" on my LVP floors (pale horizontal lines in the pic). It took a lot of work to hand clean the marks off. I tried several times with pure water in case it was the cleaner, but it still left streaks that required going over with a swifter mop. There were some good features so I really tried to make it work. I posted online to see if anyone else had this problem and only found one person who had a similar problem so maybe it was a defective machine, but I'm not taking chances with a replacement and I'm just returning it. Now I have to figure out what to replace it with :-(If you want to take a chance here are some pros and cons:Pros:Good suction - I was impressed with how much water it recovered (huge difference from my previous Bissel Crossweave)Self propulsion assist is a nice feature (my back appreciated it)Self clean/dry seemed to work really wellSeemed to do a good job cleaning for the most part. When I had to go over the areas with the Swifter it came back clean!Good edge cleaningRelatively easy to dump dirty waterCons:Smaller clean water tank requires frequent refilling while cleaning"Voice" is irritating and have to stop the machine to hear what it saidRun time was a little shorter than advertisedRollers seemed to come off a little easily when bumped into anythingDeal breakers for me:Stripes it made on my floorsMax mode spit out black water
