DowBier MacBook Decal Vinyl Skin Sticker Cover Anti-Scratch Decal for Apple MacBook (MacBook Pro 13"/Inch Retina(A1425,A1502), Black Marble)

Overall, I like the look of this skin for my MacBook Pro. I knocked off two stars for a couple of reasons. One, when I got it, it was bent pretty bad, which made application extremely tedious. Excluding that... The Apple logo is slightly too wide, so it appears to be put on slightly "off", but really only if you look closely. Not enough to really bother me. The BIG problem that's actually annoying me is that the outer ring of the entire edge came very sticky and is peeling. I just put my skin on, maybe 2 hours ago. Took my son to the park and came home to do some work, which is when I am taking these pictures and writing this review. The edge ring is annoyingly sticky, so I used an alcohol wipe (which was almost dry) to gently wipe the edges to attempt to remove the stickiness.... and now it has a very worn, gross look where its not sticky. No win here. :(

The cut out size looks pretty good and its pretty thick. The center apple cutout, if you want to keep it on your laptop, might be hard to remove from the backing and become misaligned when you apply. you can see a gap between the apple logo and rest of the decal.Lastly, it only comes with decal for the top lid, I had expected to receive decal for both the top and bottom.

I really like the decal. I've had it on almost a year now...for some reason it's started peeling up at the edges, which I've never experienced with a skin. It's cheap and pretty enough that I'll buy a new one, but it is kind of annoying that I have to replace it.

Love it! It's beautiful. It was easy to apply (though I agree with other reviewers, I wasn't able to get it on exactly right and one of my edges is a bit curled, but that doesn't bother me. All cases/covers that I have had throughout the years have issues with the corners curling or chipping. It's the nature of the beast.). I've had it for over a month now and it's held up really well. I was afraid the adhesive wouldn't be strong enough, but the vinyl hasn't budged or bubbled. I don't see the vinyl coming off anytime soon. :-)

um - really not clear - this is only the top of the computer - not the bottom. Bummer. there is no link for where to buy the bottom either. for this price - which is the same as the full skin I'm replacing, I'm really surprised this is just 1/2 of a skin. it doesn't even include the interior or the keyboard cover like other do. it has to go back.

It seems like all these decals don’t have the Apple logo covered, and I get nervous if I don’t protect every bit of my electronics. This skin gave a choice to use the cutout for the Apple logo which is what I did. I love the finished look and being clumsy I ended up putting a plastic case over it as well. Perfect combination and I’m not worried my MacBook Pro will get damaged when I use it.

Fits well but you will need to use good old dead reckoning to get the thing on as it comes with no instructions nor assistance in how you are to get it on the MacBook. Once it is on you will ruin it if you remove it to move it over a bit. There is probably a youtube video of how to place it on the device I should have watched but it looks pretty good for my unguided efforts.

Texture and print is really nice. It was also easy to apply, however, if you line up the edges perfectly to start, the other end ends up being too short by a tad. So it's better to start applying from the top and go to the bottom because it's less noticeable. My apple logo also didn't line up perfectly because of this.
