First, I ordered 3R, 15-20 compression, in brown, but this site doesn't show it. I have bought the Ambition line for years and they work well for me. The new "soft" fit seems to mean that it has a looser top band-which would be fine, but it has some rubber or latex sticky junk coating (so the socks don't slide?). They pinch and feel too long. It's like having a rubber band pulling on the skin-or leg hairs. To make a pun, they would be OK in a pinch, but not what I want for comfort. Also need to make them a bit shorter, at least the smaller sizes....they come above the knee joint and fold over. Also, I don't think the compression was correct: it felt less strong, more like a 8-15. I could deal with the compression, but the sticky band is not comfortable. Don't mess with good thing. I also learned from another company (Sigvaris) that Jobst started making their socks in Mexico...which if true, could account for the somewhat less than consistant quality recently. Still the best brand of compression socks for me. I have worn them for 5 years everyday and my legs rarely tire out. Just make the soft fit bands without the rubber lining and they would work.

I am a tall woman and have long legs. these supp hose fit me perfectly, they stay up all day, no pulling, are very comfortable, give me good support on my old legs. I purchased several pairs, and need to buy more in different colors.
