The Land Before Time: The Wisdom of Friends

This was a great purchase. My kids have loved the land before time everything from the movies to the little tv series they did. I was sad that there aren’t more land before time episodes and thought we had seen everything there was to offer. Then I saw this and the other couple of LBT movies available. This is my first purchase. I was skeptical that it would be three short episodes like the tv series, but it is three decently lengthed movies. I think it’s a great deal. I loved LBT as a child and am glad my 3 year olds do just as much. There isn’t a lot out there that is appropriate for their age and is not torture for a parent to watch. Please come out with more LBT. We love them!

Three good movies on 2 discs.Great Day of the Flyers is my favorite. Brings up the emotional challenges of a new step-sibling. Also about fitting in verses being yourself.Tinysauruses teaches the importance of telling the truth, even when it's difficult. It also shows the dynamics of prejudice and even persecution of a marginalized group. This is pretty impressive for a movie directed to kids.Wisdom of Friends is sillier than the other two. But it teaches a valuable lesson that other cultures may have unfamiliar customs that apply universal principles. In other words, our habits serve a purpose, but others may have completely different habits that achieve the same purpose.

My daughter is way over the age of watching cartoons, but whenever she is home from school sick she still reaches for a Land Before Time movie. We have been watching the danged things for years and still get a laugh out of them. This is one of the two we didn't have and we enjoyed this one just as much as the others. They are not nauseatingly sweet or overly simplistic. They mix up the dino eras a bit, but it is easy to forgive them because the characters are really pretty timeless.

I have watched the movies in this series enough with my 3-year-old son, that I can actually sing 99% of the songs! If you are looking for movies that are age appropriate for toddlers and teach great life lessons with very light "scary" parts - then this series is for you! They are family oriented and kindness driven. It's nice to put a movie on for your child and not have to worry about it! (Mommy break of the day!)

My grandson is almost 3 and all we watch is Land Before Time movies. This is his favorite one. He calls it "The blue one and the pink one". It doesn't have the sad parts that he hates so much like the other movies. But he does get mad when the yellow bellies wont share the berries and eat them all up. I ordered with the regular (free) delivery and it was here in 3 days so unless you have a dinosaur emergency I wouldn't pay the extra shipping. The movies are great and the service is too.

I loved the movie when I saw it on TV. The Land Before Time was one of my fav series growing up and I still love watching it to this day. They have great lessons for little ones and great songs for all of them.

Perfect for a 2-4 yo age group - no excessively scary scenes, sad parts, or words like stupid or dumb. Definitely more tame than the original, which is great for young children and toddlers.

Just wanted to finish the collection. 3 movies on 2 disc.

brilliant dinosaur adventure for the kids - my son adored these films growing up and even today i think youngsters will still love the adventures of these little guys

I haven't watched this yet because it is for Christmas for my Grandson. but I have seen it previously and loved it. The package was delivered very quickly and I was very pleased with the transaction.
