This is a brilliant machine that makes good coffee and has saved me a small fortune whilst inter railing around Scandinavia. It works equally well with pods or ground coffee (I took pods with me on my hols for ease) and being able to use hot or cold water is so useful. I often have a flask of hot water but when I don’t I can still make a coffee to kick start my day. It will also be great for camping so I can see I am going to get plenty of use out of it. There are some drips and it is a bit messy but I found using a small microfibres cloth sorted all that out… I stand the machine on the cloth while using the cup (to absorb drips) and then give the whole think a wipe down with the cloth when I’ve finished. Really impressed with this. Super portable and actually makes a proper espresso. Heats fast and very convenient when traveling. Didn’t expect this quality from such a small device definitely worth it.

bought the Outin Espresso for my partner’s birthday because he loves a proper espresso. We travel all over the Peloponnesus, and, truth be told, we’re a little bit of coffee snobs – we adore high-quality, organic coffee. In Greece, finding truly great coffee can be a bit of a challenge, so I was a little sceptical about buying this machine. But wow – it won us over instantly. We’ve used it with both cold and hot water, and it’s been flawless every time. The espresso it produces is rich, full of flavour, and crowned with a beautiful, velvety crema. It feels like café-quality coffee in the palm of your hand. Compact, portable, and easy to use, it’s become our travel companion wherever we go. Honestly, you can’t fault it – it’s a game-changer for coffee lovers on the move. Highly recommended!

If I could give 0 stars I would due to a big quality issue. I bought it as a present for a coffee lover. It turns out the machine cannot be charged due to the type C not being fit properly in within the frame - See image attached. There is no way to plug it for charge as there should not be any gap and type C port should be fully accessible to obviously recharge it Considering this sits quite a bit more on the premium end compared to the rest, I did not expect this quality control issue as I checked all reviews and articles and no one mentioned such thing, so I believe this should not have happened.

This has been one of those crazy purchases that has genuinely improved my life, an expensive outlay but no regrets. It means I have excellent coffee at work and I can take it on day trips, camping, beach trips and hikes. Making espresso on a secluded beach has been a delight. I've suffered no end of jealous and inquisitive colleagues. In terms of functionality it is very versatile. The battery capacity can manage five espressos, using room temperature water and i don't even know how many using preboiled water. It comes with two adapters, one for nespresso pods and one for grounds. I use the pods one all the time. I use it about ten to twelve times a week and I've had it a couple of months, I'm very happy with how it performs. If it uses preboiled water it takes less than a minute to produce an espresso. If using cold water it can vary depending on the water temperature but around five minutes. Thise little gadget produces espresso that rivals proper full sized machines. Espresso is pumped creating thick crema. I find it easy to keep clean. Once used it isn't going to leak out remnants so can be stored and cleaned when back home. All the parts requiring cleaning separate and can be rinsed well. The water reservoir can be dried out easily. The only way I could suggest improving this would be to sell an upgraded cup, a nice titanium espresso beaker would be very cool. One thing I really did appreciate from the manufacturers is good instructions and the inclusion of not one but three logo stickers. I wish more brands did that.

Size of a small vacuum flask and probably about the same weight so easily portable in a back pack. It will brew espresso from ground coffee or nespresso pods. The battery lasts 3 to 4 espressos using cold water straight from the tap before it gives up-water from a bottle that has reached ambient temperature might give a bit more. Using hot water from a vacuum flask brews a whole lot more, the flask capacity becoming the limiting factor rather than the battery. Even when using cold water, brewing is quick and the hopper and filter are easy to clean out for the next brew. All good and very easy to make “espresso with view”.

Does everything that was specified, only complaint, is the box and the item it came with looked a little worn and not brand new, I suspect it was refurbished.

I purchased the OutIn Nano Portable Electric Espresso Machine, and after about 10 months of use, still within the warranty period, the heating function stopped working while the pump continued to operate normally.
