Great for the kayak
I wanted a rod that I didn't have to fight with a fish jumping around at one end and having to hold the rod up high to get the fish close enough to get it into the kayak. This rod enables me to do this. I thought at first it might be a bit weak to land some decent fish but this has proved not to be the case. The reel mount is a bit neat so be careful which reel you put on it. Otherwise I'm very pleased with it.
