Illuminative Solar LED Lighthouse Outdoor Garden Ornament with Rotating Light (Medium)

I have rec’d no reply to my email, stating that this product may be faulty, the light part switch was very spongy and it sounded loose inside as if something was broken. Nothing heard, so we carried on using, only for the light to fail now.

So far so good. I have only had this item for about a week and up to now no problems. However despite the assertion that this is weather resistant I am not very optimistic that this is in fact the case as this lighthouse despite being taller than the much cheaper versions has EXACTLY the same lighting system on the top despite it being red and not black plastic.I bought the cheaper version and it worked well until the rain came which put pay to the light working until I dismantled the top section and totally dried it out. This proved satisfactory until the next time it rained, when you can guess what happened. I will wait and see just how weather resistant this lighthouse is.UPDATE.It rained yesterday and guess what?. You are correct. The lighthouse no longer shines out at night. . I can only assume that the so called weather resistance refers only to the plastic tower and NOT to the light system on top.Because of this I can only give this expensive non- lighthouse one star..

battery connections need constant attention as does not always charge up

I’ve had the lighthouse for nearly 3 months and it works really well, after a sunny day it remains functioning until the early hours of the morning.It’s a nice size 56cm high and about 18cm dia. gives a good bright beam. It is not very heavy so needs some stones placed around the base if sited in a windy location. I did recently have a problem with the mirror not rotating at dusk but after contacting Clifford James, a replacement lantern head was sent by return and is working ok. It’s not often these days that one receives such hassle free service, so I give 5 stars for boththe product and service.George Barker Bristol.

After only a few weeks the light no longer rotates but otherwise looks fab round my pond

bought two one was broken on arrival so far other seem ok but only on for about two hours waiting for the summer sun to make my mine up cheaper ones work better so how long this one will last who knows

Very pleased with this purchase, lighthouse is very realistic, well painted & light rotated & shone brightly @ dusk just as described. It arrived on a sunny day so had about 8 hours charge beforehand & worked perfectly. I cannot comment on how weatherproof it is as after 5 days of outside use it is yet to rain !!! Definitely recommend this item on what I have experienced so far.
