Hercules BS408B 3- Section Orchestra Stand Folding Desk

I needed a solid stand that would easily carry a music-stand light, and which was sturdy enough that I could annotate music without removing it from the stand. This fitted the bill perfectly. Like all the Hercules equipment I have purchased, it is exceptionally well designed and substantial. Altering the height of the stand is a piece of cake with the clutch system. I am completely satisfied with this stand; truthfully, if you need a really solid wide stand for double quarto or folio size sheets, I doubt you could do better.

With a limited memory I need music stand for performance but most steady stands are awkward to carry as the desk section is large. This stand has a desk that folds in half, the joints are firm but easy quick release, so easy to set up, adjust, collapse and carry. I also purchased the Hercules Stands Orchestra Stand Bag BS001 from Amazon. This contains the stand when folded and also the light system I use on dark stages. I also use Hercules stands for all my guitars They are also wonderful!

It does what it says, but is not worth the money. The construction of the actual ‘stand’ or ‘desk’ section is not of a high enough quality and the buttons for releasing it from it’s closed position are difficult to use and not justifying of the price. It is also not stable enough to warrant its price.

Really solid and well-designed stand. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Bought for my wife, who loves this stand. Easy to use and appears quite durable. Would recommend.

Excellent quality, easy to assemble

Robust and functional. It's the best stand I have ever owned. Expensive, but well worth the extra. I love being able to fold up the desk section and carry in a case.
